Re: Pirating Factorio

I did do it to spite you, but your wrong to think that means I had no reason. Lets start with, you defiantly are not some "victim" of trolling here. You attacked another member of this forum (verbally of course) because he "flaunted" the fact that he pirated the game IN THE SAME ...

Re: Pirating Factorio

So TGS doesn't have a problem with downloading games as a way of trying them. Its telling the truth to the devs face on their own forum he just can't stand?? :-P The devs are mature enough to see that "piracy" isnt going to kill their income stream the same way VHS recorders didn't kill pr...

Re: Pirating Factorio

Tynan Sylvester, the developer of rimworld is a big piracy pussie. (LONGPOST INCOMING) http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20131007080747AAwqSGb Read that and tell me if you ever consider handing him your money again. He blindly denies that releasing your game for free (to the people tech sa...

Re: Role playing direction

@darthlawsuit If you create a special version of a game like that, unless it has extra useful features, most torrent sites would just flag and delete that torrent for being misleading/mislabeled content, then the pirates would acquire the "standard edition" and distribute it. The reason de...

Re: Role playing direction

People who pay for all the games they sink 10+ hours dont feel like bad people for trying before they buy. even if the devs (tynansylvester) or forum members (TGS and Gammro) cry us HUGE rivers.

People who know how to use TOR dont fear forum bans or IP tracking.

Re: Role playing direction

its just like indie music, if you dont share your music on facebook, myspace etc etc, do you really think youll get discovered in some bar inside of a bowling alley? first, get the game out there and known, educating the consumer is the hardest part of marketing. Then, monetize like a mothafucka. Th...

Re: Version 0.8.0

Things I notice you didn't comment on the separate slot for each health level of an object. Do you really have to give Wall 1 HP: 15.101 and Wall 2 HP: 15.102 each have their own slots? Can we at least stack walls and turrets separated by whole numbers? You could maybe round down the damage values ...
