Edit the config.ini: search for audio-backend and change that line to "audio-backend=allegro" (no semicolon at the beginning)
I also encountered the same problem with 1.1.68, but this setting solved it.

By the way, if the item has low flow rates, we don't need 8 6x6 chests for 8 wagons; 1 6x6 chest and 8 stations would be better for the UPS, I do that sort of thing to some extent.
