I have added an automatic fix of fluid mixing when two systems with different fluid are connected.
That does not cover all potential fluid mixings, but it covers all of the ways mixing can be done that we know of now.

That diagonal looks like the search kinda goes forever or something? I have no idea how but I have no idea how any of those weird direction connections could exist.

Boskid, what exactly are you doing in the first gif? If I mine the furnace, then it crashes. Reason is some bad connection logic - it first destroys the energy source and the left pipe tries to connect to the one on the right when it should not. That is fixable. Bugs like this one are very unlikely to encounter accidently and I think that if the assemblers are modded in a reasonable way, it should work fine. I am trying this but the furnace in the mod is not the one in the save/report. Can you please update it?
It is the one in the other report though.

I think that this should, generally, work. But there is that weird thing with making the connection to that random place. I know it was happening in another report too and I fixed the whole thing before investigating this detail. But it seems to be important and I think that if I fix that, then the ...

Yes, we were discussing these issues after a recent bug with these matter factories. It turned out to be pretty easy to fix, so everything is cool!

Ahhh, I think that I was aware of this issue long time ago when fixing something for these modded pipes. Left it alone until it reveals itself. Problem is that when building a pipe, it searches for a connection as far as its range is. So when you build the normal pipe, the search does not reach the ...

I have prevented teleportation that would result in overlapping pipe connections. It could be extended to all building too but I will keep that as is now and in backup if it is needed in the future.
