That does not work, rails on any bigger system are one way only to prevent deadlocks What does not work? Driving through the skipped station to reach the next one if it is otherwise unreachable? A train cannot just stop anywhere, because the rails are one way, and they only lead to a few train stop...

That would require you to drag the circuit network all the way to every station in order to have it work. Since you still don't know where exactly the train is, you need to send a skip condition to every station it could possibly be. If you don't have a stations for only a single train, you have to ...

Wouldn't it also be great that a station with multiple platforms act as 1 station for scheduling. Train would then look for an available platform. And as far as I can see, there is no way that is not ridiculously complicated to let only a specefic train to a station if you can only disable stations globally, but feel free to tell me a simple way if you know one.

Campaigns can be put into mods. Can they? Because a campaign also requires a save game, I don't think you can put those in mods. And it would be pretty annoying to go to the mod menu and enable / disable the mod if you want / don't want to play a specific campaign. Yes. You can include a blueprint....

I wouldn't say that both are needed, but they sure would be nice. And I think what <NO_NAME> was trying to say is that both can be used to do something that you cannot do with only the other, therefore to do everything, you need both.

That's not true, in my base, it's the train that knows what it needs, not the station. Example: I have train that goes to about six supply stations before returning to a factory outpost. You guys are talking about it like it is already implemented (version 0.14.21, no new updates found)
