Re: Factorio: Space Age is here!
Looks like they're free. If they are the re-used rockets you sent up, then I haven't found that counter yet (but then, I only launched half a dozen rockets so far...)
I send 30 pods per minute from space station since each science pack goes down in its own pod. Okay, maybe 2-3 packs per pod ...

Re: Factorio: Space Age is here!
How to increase amount of asteroids space station can collect? Have whole perimeter covered within range of collectors.
And how estimate that amount? Other variables are known in Factorio, I want to calculate how much machines do I need instead of guessing!

Re: Factorio: Space Age is here!
Is it normal that each cosmic science packet is packed into its own cargo pod to ship to the surface or I did something wrong? Are pods free or what? Even if so, that looks strange.

Solid.
Also, why rocket requests full stack of one item, when hub requests only few items of different type?

Re: Factorio: Space Age is here!
Hi! I'd like to thank you for a great dlc, it's truly awesome:) I have hundreds of hours in the game (still rookie numbers, I know) and I love the idea behind the expansion very much. I just don't like the vanilla being trivialized in 2.0. Cheap rockets in the expansion are great, because ...

Re: Factorio: Space Age is here!
Do I get it right, I can disable Space Age in Modes and play Factorio 2.0?
And I also can add or NOT add quality modules and elevated rails to Factorio 2.0 without Space Age?
But can't play Space Age without quality modules?

Re: Factorio: Space Age is here!
The next step is determining the price for other regions. When you submit a game to Steam, Valve automatically suggests prices for local currencies in other regions. You have the option to change these numbers at will, but a suggestion is made. It's unclear how exactly these suggested prices are ...

bacteria in biochamber can't just make iron and copper elements out of thin air and nutrients
Depends on the nutrients. If it contains the trace amounts of the element the bacteria can filter it out. Iron bacteria is a real thing, by the way https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron-oxidizing ...

Getting factory-grade amounts of minerals from plants felt just too unbelievable.
Sorry to spoil fun, but bacteria in biochamber can't just make iron and copper elements out of thin air and nutrients. Unless it's capable of nuclear syntesis LOL  :geek:
It sounds as stupid as factory ...

If you not want care about repetitive combats - PLD is just for stay safe. Without? I Just turn off biters and other enemies due I am not a fan a large part of military in automation games. The same thing o in Dyson Sphere - when they add combat I just stop playing it.
PLD is not a problem with ...

Re: Friday Facts #427 - Combat Balancing & Space Age LAN
Personal lasers - We found them to be too strong (especially as you can have multiple), so we nerfed their damage by 66%.
So there is nothing too groundbreaking, but we hope over time we are moving towards a better place.
Damn. Nerfed lasers by a factor of three - nothing too groundbreaking

I'd say Wringlers' animation needs to be fixed. Tentacles' movements don't match speed of a creature itself.
By the way, I love how strafers are basically spidertrons considering animation

With more frequent cases when player works in remote view (and player avatar just stands around) I suggest adding... a chair.
Lol, no kiddin
Would be a nice touch to add animation for a player, instead of standing and staring into the sky for ten minutes without movement :D
