I had the issue, where I accidentally put a bp book from hotbar into inventory, which removed it from the cloud bp storage.
Saved me a lot of trouble!

Also, I don't use mines! Not sure why, they just passed me, when they got released, so I alwayss forget they exist, until it's too late. Can't really use flamers with mines...

Re: Defending your base is just to easy!
I never felt it was worth attempting to reduce pollution if not for reaching the maximum reduction possible. I'm guessing you haven't completed a dw marathon megabase yet. It really is a different game. All factorio fanatics should try it at least once. Simply slowing down pollution can be enough -...

Re: Defending your base is just to easy!
I agree on all points you present. I also agree with your mindset - I think that the way you propose is one of the most fun ways to play. What I am complaining about, is "I can not steamroll biters and defense, although at this game stage I should be able to. " But the point is, with your...

Until very recently I did not even know, you can continue after you die. I simply reloaded. There was not a continue before, was there?

And with speed modules of miners that effect would be the same btw, I got flamed to hell about pd3 in miners, but the pollution impact would be almost the same, 210% instead of 240% on pd.

Man, you people really do hate listening, do you? :D Let's take a look-see, if you think I am playing for 10 years, and do not grasp the basics. Screenshot 2022-09-15 170959.png This is the base. Every inch of the perimiter is covered with artillery, and I mean that literally. Artillery range is cur...

[1.1.68] Module shadow can be seen through rocket
When a rocket is launched, and it flies over another silo, you can see the module shadow of the other silo. Not sure if this applies to assemblers as well.

Re: Defending your base is just to easy!
See, this is where opinions differ. My factory is in standby mode. It just produces for it's own needs, no meaningful research. I still kill about 400 bugs per minute (literally!) Screenshot 2022-09-15 103925.png I do not find it satisfactory or fun, that I have no way to do so indefinately, or reli...

Re: Defending your base is just to easy!
it's an ancient thread, but that's what makes it interesting. The complaint is still perfectly valid. Even deathworld marathon, once you get artillery with a decent range, it's game over. Admittedly getting to lategame is a bit of a challenge.. But even on super hard settings, things like efficienc...

Re: Factorio is coming to Nintendo Switch™
I suppose the biggest question I have is, why put it on the weakest dedicated game platform? I would have thought that with built in mouse/keyboard support that either of the other two big platforms, both of which are stronger and more capable platforms, would have made more sense to port to? Refer...

Re: Factorio is coming to Nintendo Switch™
Arm builds are interesting for very cheap/easy-on-the-power hosting. Also, I have no idea, what gaming you mean. Literally no games are on switch, which interest me. Bing bing wahoo is a different audience. Same with controller support - literally could not care less. It's always a personal preferen...

Re: Colored gauge with small combinator footprint
One thing that's always bothered me a little about gauges is that as the level runs down, especially once it turns red and is only a light or two left, it's harder to see. I know attaching a siren could help, but what would it take to: Make it so when the lamps turn red they also start flashing, an...

Re: Factorio is coming to Nintendo Switch™
Tbh, while I am really happy for the team, and especially for Twinsen, that must have been a great and entertaining challenge, I am disappointed. For years we hear "Arm will not be optimised for, there will be no arm builds", because "Determinism, weak systems, yada yada" and yet...

Since the "brother" posts were not different at all, were written in the same way, and happened at the same time as his usual postings, I think that is the classical imaginary brother at work as always
