Since we have walls, I figured it would be useful to have gates or doors so I could go through but creepers can't. They could be opened/closed manually, or automatically when I stepped near them.

My opinion, it takes away from the survival feel when you can't build bullets because you are stuck doing other things. Never mind you're being chased, keep building whatever. If a duplicate way is made to create an item, then you cannot have a single count of raw materials required for that item. Assembler machines would have to distinguish the two recipes for the same item. Both of these would take some fairly major reworking of the game or result in lost features, and ...

Regarding the whole 'build a factory thing', a proper factory to build conveyer belts is likely to use at least 2k of conveyer belts to build. I've noticed the latest update drastically reduces the amount of ore available. I've maxed out all the settings, and there's still not enough for my liking. So I was wondering if it would be possible to either increase the amount with the existing options or add some more possibilities.

According to the logistic system, I have 93k (~93,000) Iron Plates in storage.

I have a requester chest which is asking for 300 of them.

I have over 500 idle logistic robots.

And yet, nothing is mentioned as being delivered on the chest.

I often want to build really large structures and end up running into bodies of water. It would be cool to be able to build a bridge or fill them in (perhaps a use for the horribly under-used stone). Perhaps a way to expand lakes and grow trees would be cool too.
