Re: Redesign the entire railway system. Again!
I ran into a similar issue with my very large rail network. If the train pathfinder is taking ages, then there are 2 factors that are likely to cause this: 1. The trains are having to recalculate their paths frequently 2. The average length of the path they have to recalculate is very long I will de...

Reduced the UPS impact of a large number of bitters trying to pathfind. Awesome, thanks for looking at this Oxyd ! :D Pathfinder was using 1ms in my game in 0.17.48, I'm waiting for the patch to appear on Steam so I can see what my new times are. :> I did a little bit of reading back in old FFF's a...

Re: Friday Facts #298 - Demo upgrade for Stable
That does make sense that we want to teach the player how to automate the production of items, and you're right, they need to be used somewhere. But why does the NPE need to be different from the freeplay? Why not just have new players make Automation Science Packs, and feed them into a lab? Surely ...

[0.17.47] Reproduceable crash 1 minute after loading game
After updating to 0.17.47 I loaded my save game. About 1 minute later, Factorio crashed. I've now tried this 3 times and it happened the exact same every time, always after about 1 minute. My save is 243mb: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1dDKeSGAo3WdSzlX7EhiSvn4oetq-OxPe No player action was neede...

Here are some frozen bitters: https://i.gyazo.com/e82c4a8572a4e04913aee90fd328aa11.mp4 After a big shelling they basically always end up like this. In my current save it's easily reproducible - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1dDKeSGAo3WdSzlX7EhiSvn4oetq-OxPe - just use the artillery shelling remot...

Thanks for this awesome round of bug fixes ! :D The tank buff is a great idea. Tanks were arguably worse than cars before, with this change they become a lot more useful again. :> The lit lasers look way better! I second the request to make them a bit glowy :D I wish this glowyness for colorful ligh...

That's awesome about the improvements to inserters :D Also amazing that you caught the bug on that guy's twitch stream so quickly. I had a go at reproducing it after your post about it in the 0.17.44 thread, and I couldn't figure it out.. I love the direction of the new raw resource icons, being ran...
