Living off the fatta the lan. https://i.imgur.com/F2UjdTI.jpg For the cost of 2 offshore pumps, generates some extra power, probably about 60MW net, AND 860 syngas /s OR 380 coalgas /s OR 390 tar/s and probably some hydrogen and oxygen if any is leftover from the power plant / syngas with oxygen. Propene recipe issue?
I swear that propene used to take 5 lead plates, but it's showing up as 5 iron plates for me in my game. I have the full py suite. Is it iron for everyone else?

If you're just reading the .lua files they all look 10 times higher than they really are. It's 10 acetylene / ore (still a lot)

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
because of the way hellmod works example there is a recipe that from 100 molten makes 20 plates if you want to make 21 plate then makeing 105 molten might register as 200 or something when it comes to small numbers do the math on paper and my paper said that all higher tier recipes have a gain the ...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Oh I guess that loop never worked lol nevermind. Zipirs just require that much salt I guess. They were designed with the closed loop in mind but don't function that way

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
I think PyRO has destroyed the Zipir closed loop with saline water -> waste water (+ biofilm + filtration media) -> saline water. That lets you save roughly 20 salt per cycle. Now, biofilm requires rayon, which is a huge change. Also, each rayon now requires 1.67 sodium-carbonate, which requires, be...

Re: Approach with pure PyMods?
9 sand extractors with iron STICK made in assembler3 with asmuch productivity as you can Actually, true. Pyanodon just move PYRO excavation into tier 2 science, so maybe I can have enough sand now. Assembler 3 and productivity modules, now I don't know what you're talking about lol. I'm a simple fa...

Re: Approach with pure PyMods?
I'm in the middle of building a pure PyMods train base. I got as far as circuit1 with just belts and gave up after planning circuit2. I'm using LTN and a train grid design. I'm only now re-automating circuit1 after 90 hrs, because I've spent so much time on the base infrastructure and had to re-orga...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Looks like pyanodon just added a new way to get sodium sulfate from way more sodium hydroxide. This results in a new way to use sodium hydroxide and replaces some salt consumption, so exactly what we asked for but in a more interesting way.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
I also think casting copper should be tier two like all the other metals, but you can actually make duralumin from molten copper in tier two, so it still has a use. And then you get low grade copper as a by product for smelting. The molten duralumin recipe is much more efficient, although molten alu...

What if you could do sodium hydroxide plus hydrogen chloride equals salt+ water? That would give something to do with all that sodium hydroxide

Here's another thing with redhot coke, the very first step. The pyChart of this says that coal -> redhot-coke requires vacuum, the .lua file for redhot coke says " {type = "fluid", name = "steam", amount = 200} --pyfe vaccumm" like it's meant to be switched by the FE mo...

What keeps you from mining salt? Salt is everywhere and it's easy to mine compared to almost every other resource in this mod.

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Pyanodon,
Is the coke-oven-gas to outlet-gas-01 recipe incorrect, where tar is an INPUT? Or is the pychart diagram incorrect, where tar is an OUTPUT? I don't want to start doing the red hot coke chain without knowing which is intended.

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
pyanodon, I think I found an actual bug. In your PyCharts, the outlet-gas-1 recipe gives tar as a result. In the actual outlet-gas-1 recipe, it takes tar as an input. That's a rather large difference. I guess no one has done the new coke chain yet to notice? All of the other outlet gas filtering giv...
