Re: [0.13.16] Crash when saving

Cannot reproduce the bug on a fresh new map, no difference if I toggle or not the mod (new game: no crash, my save it crashes) So here is my save: https://www.wetransfer.com/downloads/a258017bb9de78c93a9455ac15b709da20160816224631/7f150d2c72484150ccc2e2da7f8bfa1120160816224631/c71cd3 Thanks a lot, v...

[13.16] Crash when saving: "Error Chunk.cpp:257: Saving entity [...] Exit to prevent corruption"

Basically by saving my game, or during the auto save, it crashes, no clue why and how. Using only Marathon mod. I expected first my hard drive full, but it only 1/4 full. http://i.imgur.com/u6kYPh2.png 0.002 2016-08-17 00:36:59; Factorio 0.13.16 (build 23939, win64, steam) 0.002 Operating system: Wi...

Re: Friday Facts #148 - Optimizations for 0.14

Another improvement could be some mechanism that automaticaly splits these huge segments around the player and bitter's paths, so any sudden change wouldn't required recalculation of whole block. I had this in mind too 0.13 is absolutly brillant and amazing guys, thank you so much for your amazing ...

Re: favourite factorio feature?

Sounds maybe stupid, but the zoom out. OpenTTD, Dwarf Fortress or Gnomoria is not smooth, Most of RTS (dune2, red alert, warcraft II) there is not zoomout (little bit with openRA) Prison Architect/Rimworld/Banished discovered later. Without such zoom out, I would never replay again and again this ga...

Play Zelda Ocarina of Time on N64 on your own, and then watch the speed run. Same ratio.

I vote 0.13.33

I am pretty sure they will go over 20, but not reach 40.

Re: Why I really hate/dislike the game

I also found the game little bit boring after 2500 hours of gameplay.
But 0.13 is coming, so I guess it's kind of okay.

30 - 60 fps switch on my laptop

Hey guyz,

Sometimes the game is at 30fps, sometimes 60fps, and took me a very long time to figure:

I'm playing on a laptop and when I'm connected/plugged the game is at 60fps, and on battery only 30fps.

Can you maybe help me how to play on 60fps on battery please?

Thanks guys !

Re: Friday Facts #129 - The late game

Approx 1000h gameplay here, this is my thoughts: Ressources: I vote for 2 types of miners, 1 is the vanilla, the second is the endless-ressource mod with your dirty ore idea that need an outpost factory at each of your mines. This 2nd type could be in tiers 3. But back 1/s, not 0.1/s like oil and en...

[Not a graphic glitch] But removed concrete is quite weird

I feel you might want to know that after removing concrete, the ground tiles is pretty weird, destroying large patches of nice beautiful graphics. Feel free to delete my message if you think that's pointless.

Usefull commands for Map-tests

Hi, Usefull and easy copy/past players command to generate your map while you're tinkering with RSO settings. Most of you know them, but people like me that don't have a clue about commands/coding/searching on forum/wiki/reddit and stopped playing since a year wants to come back and have a shortcut ...
