All three friends should run speedtest and whoever has highest upload should host. Disable peer-to-peer.

Images should be optimized even if you have unlimited bandwidth. It makes a difference in page load times.

I uploaded that 25mb gif to imgur and it turned it into a very small gifv. You should look into using a CDN for images and also run an optimizer on them to reduce size.

Solar is unbalanced, but maybe it's OK? It makes the game more approachable. It's frustrating to run out of power due to a coal shortage and have the base shut down. Solar lets players not worry so much about power while concentrating on launching a rocket. Even with reliable power it's still challe...

One thing to consider is that if you don't start research immediately then there will be a backlog of science packs. I run 12 labs off 3 red/3 green/4blue.

To expand on DaveMcW's post, something ugly like this. The return routes could be joined by a splitter so it doesn't all go on one side of the belt.
