wrong, the game has to calculate the fluids constantly all the water going in and all the steam going to the turbines Just. Calculate. Max. Power. It do not needed fluid calculations. That able not only with mods.
In vanila default settings sometimes can be generated 100x higher oil patches near start point.
from 500% to 50k%, not so often.
fff-258 has rework of generation, will see soon...

The easiest way.
Make stack = 100
stack=1 is horrible to transport and store.
When you can produce lots of artillery shells stack=1 just require some more chests and wagons.
Nothing too hard or interesting. Just some more regular staff.
That does not matter at all...
