It’s best to place your train stations off of the travel lanes so that all trains that are not using the station can bypass it, and also trains that use the station will not block traffic.

It works as described but it’s mostly useless because you have to add and remove locos (and then fuel them) if you want to split a large train and reorganize the wagons. I tried to explain the build process, but I couldn't build it in my head, so I built you a blueprint. 300 is 5 seconds, 60 ticks/second. I have been looking around but can’t seem to find any.

I am using the mod for the first time and I can’t figure out how to get the unlimited energy generator to work, or any of the unlimited resource spawners to work.

I don’t know if this helps, but you can add a station to a trains schedule without any conditions and it will act as a waypoint.

Could you build your alarm in an independent electrical network to make sure it’s always powered, then connect the alarm to an accumulator that is connected to the base power? I had Factorio running in the background and forgot about it.
