Yes, I have seen that thread and no, I did not resize the window.
After starting the game I doubleclick at the window title to maximize the frame and then leave it that way.

And I don't plan to start a new game as long as the bug is not found. It's a rare opportunity to harden the code ;)

I have no idea. I suspect autosave but I'm not sure as it also crashes when autosave is disabled, although not as fast as with autosafe on. *shrugs*

Hmm, I couldn't reproduce it, but the main strange thing is, that the stacktrace was not generated. I made some research, and it seems there is much more handling required to catch all the internal errors, I made some additions. If it works correctly in the next version, the user should get message...

Same here - the base only gets presorted cargo trains. No sorting is done in the base, it would waste space and is usually unnecessary if you presort where mixtures can happen. Iron and copper are also already smelted because they have a larger stack size when snelted and unprocessed they currently ...

Nice idea ^^ But isn't this the same as just saying every item that needs a longer buildung time as X can only be build in factories and modify their recipe accordingly? Sure, it would be less spectacular but the "ceiling" effect would be the same. Stamina adds to this that you have to pau...

The darkening is what distracted me the most. I had Factorio running in the background with a browser window in front and noticed it getting dark somewhere behind that browser window. I thought "whuut?", switched back to the game but everything was normal and innocent :shock: So I switched...

Well, the singleplayer is supposed to be very stable currently. In version 0.11.14 (just released), the stacktrace of the error is included in the log now, so the log and error report would be really helpful.
