Re: Version 0.15.12
A dedicated thanks for fixing non-ASCII input on Linux! I saw the reply about the fix just yesterday and was prepared to wait a week or so (looking at the previous release cycles) and suddenly it's updated today! Yay!

Re: Version 0.15.10
You can bring steam with a train from the base and there's a lot of steam when using nuclear power. Not really a problem.

Re: [0.15.3] Can't type cyrillic in any locale on Linux
Thank you, that's the exact behavior I'm observing as well. Probably that's a change in the engine itself (Allegro).

Re: [0.15.3] Can't type cyrillic in any locale on Linux
By the way, unicode input (cyrillic at least) works fine on Mac, tested just yesterday. So it's only Linux that's affected. Could anybody confirm that?

[0.15.3] Can't type cyrillic in any locale on Linux
This is a regression from 0.14. There's this bug but previously I replaced the font in the locale configs (from TitilliumWeb to DejaVuSans) and it was all ok. Now any non-ASCII chars just don't appear in any input field, including console. I was also able to write and see non-latin chars in the chat...

[0.15.1] Migration error on connect to a headless server
This is not quite a bug but may be worth to mention. My headless server only has migrations since "2014-10-22_Factorio_0.11.0.json" and up. But the client (installed via Steam long ago and updated to 0.15.1 today) had much older migrations starting from "2014-01-09_Factorio_0.9.0.json...

[0.14.7] Download speed slows to crawl in the end
I think it's worth to resurrect the older bug as the behavior is a bit different this time. So, to quote myself... I recently noticed severe speed drop at public games. It starts very fast but the last several hundreds kilobytes are downloaded slowly, I have to wait for minutes for that to finish. M...

Re: [0.14.1] [kovarex] Upload Speed has been limited
When I struggle to download the remaining kilobytes, the log prints this endlessly: 100.746 Info TransferTarget.cpp:280: TIMEOUT! 100.762 Info TransferTarget.cpp:280: TIMEOUT! 100.779 Info TransferTarget.cpp:280: TIMEOUT! 100.796 Info TransferTarget.cpp:280: TIMEOUT! 100.812 Info TransferTarget.cpp:...

Re: [0.14.1] [kovarex] Upload Speed has been limited
Yeah, I recently noticed severe speed drop at public games. It starts very fast but the last several hundreds kilobytes are downloaded slowly, I have to wait for minutes for that to finish. Maybe the problem is my overall high speed connection, 100 Mbit/s (by the contract, not the link speed). I eas...

[0.14.3] On desync the last pressed key gets stuck
When desync happens the last pressed key gets stuck which results in unexpected movement that happens (in background) during reconnect/redownload/catch up phase. It sometimes results in unfair death as character may run into spawners or trains without any way to prevent this. One player already lost...

Re: [0.14.3] Missing non latin letters
zh_CN is the only locale (besides en) that includes the font seciton and it's different:
Code: Select all
default=locale/zh-CN/fonts/default-font.ttf
default-bold=locale/zh-CN/fonts/default-font.ttf
default-semibold=locale/zh-CN/fonts/default-font.ttf

Re: [0.14.3] Broken font RU?
Reported here already. In the meanwhile you can patch the data/core/locale/ru/core.cfg file by adding the following section to it:
Code: Select all
[font]
default=__core__/fonts/DejaVuSans.ttf
default-semibold=__core__/fonts/DejaVuSans-Bold.ttf
default-bold=__core__/fonts/DejaVuSans-Bold.ttf

[0.14.3] Missing non latin letters
It seems that after that change fonts for Russian locale (DejaVu) and maybe others aren't used. If I change the locale to Russian there are no characters anywhere except punctuation and numbers. After each update I'm manually patching data/core/locale/en/core.cfg section [font] to get Russian chat w...

Re: [0.13.13] [Linux] [Steam] [Pending] Game forgets my username and account
Same here and very annoying. At first I thought there's sort of timeout for stored credentials but then I've got my username forgotten right after the game restart. Here's the full log: 0.000 2016-09-02 17:04:37; Factorio 0.14.2 (build 24403, linux64, steam) 2.130 Operating system: Linux (Debian tes...

Re: [0.14.1] [kovarex] Upload Speed has been limited
Can confirm, it's good now. The download from localhost was very fast, I only noticed something like 14 Mb/s at the end. Overall it felt like an instant! Thanks for the fix, will try it with friends via the internet.

Re: [0.14.1]Upload Speed has been limited
Anyway, the problem is, that it doesn't grow fast enough or doesn't start on big enough speed? Or is it that it stops growing at speed lower than you would expect? I'd say, all of it. The map I'm currently playing on is around 20 Mb and Factorio starts on too low speed (400 Kb/s) that grows at the ...

Re: [0.14.1]Upload Speed has been limited
I'm afraid it has been tweaked to the wrong direction... What if my server has 100 Mbit/s or 1 GBit/s bandwidth? Could it really choke it with only two clients connecting each of them getting 8 Mbit/s at max? Doubtful. I'd like to be able to control this behavior, for example to set the "starti...

Re: [0.14.1]Upload Speed has been limited
Same for me, I used to download the map on 1-3 Mbytes/sec before and now it starts from 100-200 Kbytes/sec (I'm connecting to my own machine via loopback!) and slowly increases to 1.1 Mbyte/sec at the end. This really should be tweaked.

Re: [0.14.1] Server consumes one CPU core when idle
Thanks for confirmation. I'll post a screenshot of htop when it happens again, I've restarted it recently. Just some info, I ran it on my VPS (pretty memory restricted one) and then got tired of constant swapping and moved it to my home PC. I have 32 Gb of RAM and i7-2600 so it shouldn't be an issue...

[0.14.1] Server consumes one CPU core when idle
After prolonged play, the headless server starts to eat 100% of CPU (one core) when no one is connected. If someone connects the load drops to usual 20-30% and gets to 100% back when it's idle. Save attached.
