Re: Inserter is "waiting for train", while train is standing at the station shouting "destination full"
Adding a few seconds of inactivity to the departing condition would allow the train to finish refueling before trying to go to its next stop.

Re: Logistic Network
Another Question, is there a easy way to increase my Warehouse stacks? In some cases i only have a stack of 10 and a lot of 40 stacks. thats is hard to play :) If you mean stacks of material in warehouses, Iām going to suggest something radical hereā¦ donāt use warehouses. Send materials straight to...

Re: Logistic Network
As long as the machine in question is both able to take the wire (meaning, not an Assembly Machine of some sort) and within the Logistics Network range of a roboport, you can just connect wirelessly, to operate on the contents of the logistics network. An Inserter may be told only to put Red Belts i...

Re: Missing in game
Canāt speak to the first two, but not being able to āplaceā water is deliberate. Biters cannot swim, so the ability to place water all around your base would give you an unbreakable āwallā and that would be overpowered.

Re: Belt Counting - Puzzle
Not sure what you are really attempting to do here, but have you tried hooking a memory cell up to the inserters putting stuff on and taking stuff off the belt? For best results, hook the āonā inserters to an arithmetic combinator (Each X1, output Each) and the āoffā inserters to another arithmetic ...

Re: Drones keep getting stuck in infinite recharge loop
While building logistic network supply bridges is one option, the better one has been mentioned by someone else : supply trains. Put the supply station in the middle of the area it serves, and only enable the station when supplies run low. You can use the same station name for each logistics network...

Re: Drones keep getting stuck in infinite recharge loop
Break that network up into smaller, discrete networks. Bots fly directly to where they want to go. Concave networks are not a good idea, because they will fly outside the covered area, and if the trip is long enough, have the exact issue you are describing. Reposition your ports so that your network...

Re: Optimizing 2 Way Trains
Honestly, it I think that moving to two one-way tracks IS the optimization called for here. Either you are trying to time things so that you get material just in time as needed, or you upgrade the single two-way track to a pair on one-way tracks. And in the face of what upgrading to the latter offer...

Re: "On Demand" Train Schedule?
If you have things set to enable when a C signal (for example) is 1 ā¦ you can either add -1 to the C signal, or multiply the C signal by 0, to get it to 0. A 0 signal does not actually have a value of 0; it has a ānullā value instead and is ignored. Anything set to Enable when C = 1, or C > 0, will ...

Re: "On Demand" Train Schedule?
Hmm. While I donāt think thereās a way (unless you somehow jigger it to turn signals red) to have the train use the Until Passenger Present wait condition, howās this? Leave the refueling station (whatever one you plan on providing it fuel at) off the circuit network, with a Train Limit of 1, so the...

Re: Smart Train Loading with Single Requestor Chest
I would suggest taking the very slow approach of using Stack Size 1 for the loading Filter Inserter. This way, it loads exactly the number desired, and is not trying to put 3 more of an item into a slot that can only hold 2. IMO if loading multiple items into a train, its better to use multiple Requ...

Re: "On Demand" Train Schedule?
I can think of a way to set the train to come to you; but what I cannot really come up with is a way to reset the system after youāve gotten off the train.

Re: How can I accompish this? Train station and ore problem.
Try this, maybe? Wire all the miners together, to get the ore in the field they sit upon. Have a Constant Combinator set to 1 Ore part of this, too. Wire them all to a Decider Combinator, Ore < 2 output Ore = 1. Wire that to an Arithmetic Combinator, multiply Each * 15999, output Each. Wire that out...

Re: Why do I have (need?) so many idle bots?
Robot count for any given subfactory is a tough one, IMO. I once set up automatic delivery of bots when either logistic or construction bot available was less than 10. I had nowhere NEAR enough roboports; though I had quite a few in that outpost. I eventually went back because it was not producing a...

Thatās an idea. Put a watcher signal in place and as soon as it goes red from a train entering the roundabout, have the signal conne to g/separating that sideās I let and outlet gets turned red too? Not sure if that would impact normal operation of the signal though. Might need a separate specially ...

Make sure the roundabout is larger than the train is long. Or, avoid using roundabouts. Your choice.

Re: Nuclear Power Problems
You have two setups of 1x2 reactors. Each setup needs 16 Heat Exchangers to operate at full power. Each setup needs 27.5 (rounded up as stated above, to 28 ) Steam Turbines to operate at full power. So, yes, you need 56 Steam Turbines between the two 1x2 Reactor setups. What will blow your mind is t...

Re: Need help with train system!
I am going to guess that it is a signaling issue. That is basically a ābent barbellā shape. The two bells at the end should be one-way tracks, but the connecting line should be two-way. Just a hunch, but Iād double check that the signaling where that two-way track crosses the other tracks are set up...

Without a better view of the entire power plant, we canāt really proofread your power plant. What I can tell you is, that those 4 reactors in that two 1x2 configuration cannot provide more than 320 MW of power, at 160 MW each. 160 MW calls for ( factoriocheatsheet.com/#nuclear-power ) 2 Offshore Pum...
