I could fix it... but its only 7.6KJ

If you want to fix yours, just go into the control lua and fix the temperature value for the fluid when it spawns, from 25 to 15...

Sorry for offtopic, but maybe you could make a very lowtech (wood and iron) windmill as a weak and unstable but working all the day power source? Also it could be a source of the underground water. For the sake of the balance this water can have lower temperature.

I think its a great idea!

The expansion chunks are really useful to see, but you're right that its not gameplay friendly to have it as a debug option.

Having it as a new radar system, maybe a equipment version too for mobile chunk revealing would be really nice, and balanced too. Making it a more ...

Do you want to make this mod a little bit more complex by moving steam based stuff higher in the tech tree and making offshore pumps electricity dependent?

You can't do that without providing a way to generate power for the research. But it's a good idea, and I would suggest that the burner ...

What is the consumption in units/s?
What is the pollution? Is it same pollution per time for all fluids? or same per MW generated?

I'd like a complete tech spec in pdf, please :)


Consumption is 0.3 fluid/sec at max, but differs for the different oils

pollution is currently is 1.5 per second ...

Looking at the code, I don't see how you cleanup removed burner generators. It looks like they stay in the table forever, presumably using computer resources.
However, I am only familiar with JASS (Warcraft 3 Script) and mildly familier with C++, and unlike either LUA says it has some level of ...

I've been doing some tests with the latest version (0.1.3) and have the following information

Max output is as follows

Burning Petroluem = 1.6 MW
Burning Heavy Oil = 1.0 MW
Burning Light Oil = 2.2 MW

This is because Light oil has twice the energy per fluid as petroleum or heavy oil! But i've ...

100% efficiency? In terms of oil burning, non of the options are 100% efficient.

in terms of 'Output', no, none of the oils can reach 100% output, since the default temp of oils is 25.

This seems really useful.

I would note that this, and the burner generator have, despite being red tech, excessively long research times. 15-20 seconds would be more reasonable.

Thats because i copied the technology from one to the other :P

Also I'm not really sure if research time is that ...
