Anyone know what this is ?
Every few minutes I get the console bleep bleep bleep sound and the number 2 appears on the bottom left of the screen like console messages do.
There are no alert icons showing. I dont even have to be getting the player to do anything... just have the game running.

Pleased that the "new placement rules only applies to newly built pumps. Offshore pumps on existing maps will keep functioning, they’ll just be shifted out from the shore" so thanks for that !

I limited the stack size to 1 and it did as you suggested. It stops the inserter being left holding material that wont fit in the wagon.
With that change the inserters load just fine.

Whats happening: Train pulls into station and stops. Inserters are supposed to load contents from chests into wagons. Often Inserters appear to fail to recognize goods in the chest and fail to load same. Train wagons are set so slots are designated for a particular type of good. Inserter seems to be...

Just by way of update, in case its any help, since I added (on April 20th) " --force-opengl " as posila suggested, I have been installing every software update and have had no crashes at all.

Well I do get the error in Factorio only.
If it was my PC I suppose (?) would expect it might happen in other games too - at least occasionally.
All my drivers and OS are uptodate with whatever is the latest.

crashes frequently (at least once every session)
is this a problem with the game or a problem with my PC?
(doesn't seem many folk have this issue and its been occurring since 0.17.2 so maybe its me?)

Options / Interface and un-tick "Play Sound for Chat Messages"
Obviously also stops sound for chat messages but if you don't need this then it does stop the Beep every time a LTN console message is displayed.
