I feel scarred for life from responses to some changes ... 0.17 oil change, color correction pass on sprites and removal of pick axe come to my mind immediatelly. But there was more, I think. There is definitelly some resentment burnt into my soul :( I still think all of those were positive changes...

It’s not the CPU, which is the bottleneck with containers - as the original post correctly stated - it’s the memory bandwidth.

As it always is in context of Factorio. :)

It’s all right. :)

I just want to make clear, that this option can be misused or can be quite annoying for open servers in many ways and needs imho some kind of vote of all other players, if they want to wait or not. For example: if x% of players vote against wait, the server will continue.

I think the Shift-key is already overused… what I want is some kind of circle menu, which I can use to change the paste parameters while placing the bp.

I thought over this second method and it reminds me too much of Jews brought into a shower and being gassed to death. I really would prefer some kind of hamster wheel method, which sounds funny.

First: for fast replacement you need to say which entities you wanna replace. That’s currently only possible via mouse. I have no idea (and you either) how that should work then…

I think Factorio 1.2 will eventually support that.

I think — and that’s what this suggestion is imho missing — that you cannnot compare roboports with power poles so easy. Because roboport have two ranges: logistic- and robotic-network.
