Same here, every death causes a freeze, desync and inability to join the game by the dead player - we have to reload the game from save and make sure everyone has restarted their Factorio, otherwise server just crashes.
We play with 99 ms setting, 3 people, pings are 45-49 and 80-85.

Between some players you can't even make a 2 man game, it just fails, despite pings being good. It desyncs and you can't do anything about it at all, just look for other people to play with. At least with 0.11.8 if you tried 3-4 times and it does not stabilize - forget it, try playing with other peo...

TS has people from time to time, I actually use it when needed.
But we are already playing together through the Evolve anyway, and FishSandwich refused to use TS
Given a try to IRC - better chances of getting a reply on Evolve, because people are joining the Hydra group to play, not just idle

Running 0.11.8 with up to 5 people on and off, direct connection without Hamachi/evolve/etc. Runs fine for everyone, we all are in the EU, so pings are 45-50.
