I use rather small platforms, about 170t, to transport good between Nauvis and other 3 planets. They fly well, maybe no so fast, but no complains.
I've made a little bigger platform 194t to travel to Aquilo, with two missile launchers.
Problem is lower electric power on Aquilo orbit. I use just ...

Re: Dissapointed Space Age doesn't do Space correctly
Space ships, flying like they are airplanes in the atmosphere, in many space FPS games are much more unrealistic, compared to Factorio design. Factorio is about building big factories and automation. Yes, space platforms here, looks much more like trains, but they do their job well - allow you to ...

Re: Gleba has killed the game for me.
I still hate Gleba, but managed to create agricultural pot production there.
I used less production approach, with more imported things, including nuclear reactor, and all rocket parts import, with a cheat of slow spoiling time. This works ... almost, to make an automated pot production. But whole ...

Re: Gleba has killed the game for me.
Someone mentioned mods.... Yes, of course, there are already a lot of mods, that solve spoiling troubles. But for now, a lot of players trying to finish the game, at least once, without mods, ether for achievements or just to complete non modded Space Age.

Re: Gleba has killed the game for me.
So it turns me to spoiling speed parameter, that appears to be a game setting.
I set spoiling speed to 50 times slower, it's a little better, but still very annoying.
I think Gleba should be fixed some way , it could be an option , but must be a solution, that turn it more to "watch and relax ...

Re: Repair Packs Work on Space Platform
I also saw walls on space platforms. Do they help in case of asteroid impact?
I thought that asteroid just hit a platform tile that has some HP (50 per tile), and structures on it can be damaged, if the tile is damaged. Any more precise description?

Maybe the only easy way to solve spoilage everywhere problem is make all transfers via bots and requester-provider chests. In that case you can just request all spoiled wares in one place and it will be automatically delivered.

Re: Well, Fulgora sucks [Spoiler] or lack thereof
I think main base should be on Nauvis, and Fulgora suit perfectly as a "side planet". No complains at all. It's much more complicated, compared to Vulcanus, and it is a nice place to conquer as 3rd planet. Because Gleba is worst nightmare. No idea about last frozen planet yet.

Re: Gleba has killed the game for me.
I just hate spoil mechanics. It does not fit Factorio style. Some years ago Factorio was pretending to be nominated to "watch and relax" category of Steam best games.

Got same problem - runs out of seeds, because was using normal blue factories to reprocess fruits.
Searched for a while in tech tree, to find better seed production way, or a method to craft seeds, find none.
Only search in google gave links to forums and reddit, to solve the problem.

Re: [2.0.13] Clicking on minimap while in Remote view takes you out of it
I got exactly same problem. When I click on minimap in Remove View window, instead of repositioning view to clicked location (sounds logical, right?) the game just closes Remove View and returns to my character, even if he is at quite distant location on another planet.

Re: Fulgora, optimal way to trash extra resources?
I was thinking about placing some chests outside of lightning protected area, and see how fast night storms destroy them. A chest will be destroyed with it's content, right?
If that will work, then it's possible to make automated system, that trash unwanted items, using forces of nature

Fulgora, optimal way to trash extra resources?
Since most of things on Fulgora is produced from scarp recycle, output % does not much consumption.
What's an optimal way to trash unwanted resources?
I send everything that is overflow, to one belt, and then loop recycle content until it completely disappear.
Any easier ways?

Re: Allow logistics transfers between space platforms
Item transfer from one platform to another, while they on same planet orbit, would be a nice feature.
Maybe it is not implemented yet, because all departures from platform are free, while such transfer, probably should cost some resources or energy at least.

Re: Ho to open map without zooming out every time?
So far, the most reasonable proposal to fix map zoom level is:
To have two separate keybinds: one that works exactly like now, and another, that opens same Remove View, centered on a player, but with typical map zoom level, like it was in v1.1

Re: Ho to open map without zooming out every time?
However, when/if this functionality is brought back to 2.0, it should probably be remembered per surface (=planet / space platform) ?
For now we even did not have an answer, is it considered a missing feature, and is it expected to be fixed? The only answer to bug report, about "map zoom level ...

Re: F-SA without Space. What are my options?
Actually making a flying platform is not so hard. I never watched any videos how to make one. Just build one myself, in about a hour, maybe a bit less.
But if you really hate to design it, just use someone's blueprint.

I never tested but I afraid that drone delivery will not work, due to absence of air. So only belts remain - not much choice.

This annoying tech can be unresearched, if one not planning to use it immediately, until we see some update to an interface.

Just mind that using console commands forbid achievements for current game.
