Re: Factorio Roadmap for 0.17 & 0.18
Rules of software estimating, learned back in my first job as a software developer in 1982: 1) Figure out how long you (the dev) think it is going to take: e.g., 3 weeks. 2) Multiply by 2: 6 weeks 3) Add one: 7 weeks 4) Shift to the next higher unit: 7 months :D 2022 here we come! Okay, let's rever...

I'm little confused by the following: according to picture we will not need military SP for rocket, but we will need it for satellites. Why?..

vangrunz, nobody forces you to play. Don't play if you don't want to. If you want to play, accept what's given. And it's related to all games.

Re: Version 0.16.51
Oh... so Win 8.1 is not supported officially? oO win 8.1 are technically feature upgrade for windows 8. Although 8.1 was sold it was also delivered as free upgrade to win8 (trough microsoft store), that brings up some ui changes and some functionality, but inside it's still win 8 I can disagree: 1)...

About hosting expierence: I've tried to host game from home, but failed due to multilayered NAT (3 layers in my case, only one of which is mine).
About Steam: I don't use Steam (apart from option to buy the game).

OK. Tests on centrifuge without productivity: 199, 200, 200, 200, 201 out of 200 expected (2k input).
Am I right that in case of mining drills with multiple ores it resets productivity bar as "change of recipe"?

Re: [0.16.51] Uranium processing + productivity modules = lost items
The probability in the recipe is not dependant, which means in some cases you can end up with no items being produced. <...> How does it "end up with no items being produced"? And even if it's a case, what about tests with more then expected output (1, 4, 5, 6 and 10)? I replaced centrifu...

Re: [0.16.51] Uranium processing + productivity modules = lost items
"AM"? You mean the centrifuge? The count is of how many cycles it's run. You can see this by watching an assembler produce yellow belts, one finished "product" is whatever the recipe produces. Producing yellow belts the product is two yellow belts every time, 10 "products&q...

Re: [0.16.51] Uranium processing + productivity modules = lost items
I'm about single U-235: it's really just chance based. AM states that it produced 600 items, chest contenst only 598 total (nothing being taken from there). About more consistent results: in vanilla there is one more occurance of changing outputs on-the-fly: mining drill placed on top of multiple re...

[0.16.51] Uranium processing + productivity modules = lost items
Discovered following today: After 500 production cycles with 2 x PR3 modules i got only 598 items out of 600. I suspect that game incorrectry processes situation when items, produced by AM and by modules in AM are different. For example, AM procuced U-238 and module produces U-235 and one of them ge...

For all who ask to make queue as option: how do you see managing researches in multiplayer for people with different settings?
PS. Personally, i'd like to have queue too.
