One thing that would be interesting is being able to set a player's text colour separate from their 'ingame' colour…
that's totally possible right now through modding since each player has two color values assigned. one for the player name / item color and one for chat color.

as a matter of fact i already know the game has two separate values for player color and player chat color. (yes, you can essentially write in a different color than your entity is colored in when assigning a different chat color to your entity)

so i'd say transforming my pseudocode into in game ...

tile on top of a cliff would have to be a little closer to the top of a screen, than the tile on the bottom.
i strongly agree to this. it would just mess up perspective and essentially break the current grid system. keep in mind the whole game is running in an alligned grid. nothing is loose ...

one bad sideeffect would be that this would increase map size pretty fast.
in addition to that it depends on play style. if you plan on creating a mega base you are usually going straight into one direction instead of spreading evenly.

confirmed on windows and macos. was just going to open the same report.
besides.. it's not only game storage. you cannot open any bp books in the blueprint dialog.

edit: got confirmation by 15 players. this persists across windows, linux and macos.

my blueprint-storage.dat is 10 mb right now. now think about the average.. probably less than 2 mb per user.
i guess it's highly possible.

i've used steam cloud sync for a long time in factorio now even though it is not recommended.. until i ran out of space due to savegames. it would probably be a ...

in addition it could be attached to the logic network and output the whole content of the belt.
thinking about how undergrounds work i bet this would lower belt UPS demands.

that area where the inserter grabs from could also turned into a loader to essentially get rid of inserter UPS requirements ...

hey there. same problem with backspace. if you set backspace as console key it will work fine in 0.15 but will close in 0.16

[0.16.4] backspace closes chat if assigned as chat key

if you set backspace as chat key in 0.15 it will work fine in any text field.
however in 0.16 it will close the chat instead of doing it's purpose of deleting one character.

i'm on windows right now. have not tried this on mac or linux yet.
