Re: There is something wrong with music

"Real art needs to be found. Not presented."

 Sure, but I personally always eat real art.

@Klonan

That's kind.

Re: There is something wrong with music

"Art cannot be discussed." Really a simple view of things. Isn't it strange that some people don't even notice the music or even knew that music even exists? What kind of art should this be if you don't notice it? The silence art? And as I said, there is a really big break betwee...

Re: [0.17.79] Reading whole ore field from miner does not work

Ok. But in my honest opinion this function doesn't make sense, if it is no gap allowed. A 50 Million field is by and by fragmented. If u want to read all the real ore left, u have to connect all the miners in the current build with the data cable? Right? So, if this is the truth, for what is the &qu...

Re: [0.17.79] Reading whole ore field from miner does not work

The field is fragmented. But the nearest neighbor doesn't count too. The selected miner has 2,9K left. The neighbor under it 3K. But the result is still 2,9K at the circuit. How many space between the ore patches are allowed? How many tiles? Are two empty tiles enough for the function to stop? field...

Re: There is something wrong with music

The music is great. But i personally don't like the parts who the game is quiet. Between some tracks is a huge pause and absolutely silence. Is that intended? Is that a bug? Is the silence a part of the track? Whatever. Dislike! Another thing is that the music is always the same. The tracks are very...

Re: Belts vs Bots - A response to FFF #224

Rows of beacons are the only reason we can't use more parallel belt systems in later game factories. Once you get to that stage, the beauty of interesting and interacting 2D organization goes out the window, and you're constrained to these independent narrow rows with very little flexibility in ord...

Re: Belts vs Bots - A response to FFF #224

Each of us must decide how to play the game. If someone play the game only with bots. Why not ? The counterpart is the energy hungry bots to supply. Belts don't need power. It's personally not a way i love, cause in my opinion bots destroy the creativity to build production layout's. I prefer belts!...

Because they are delicious. Every building can be attacked by the biters. But they destroy military buildings at first. Than pollution buildings, than the rest.

Re: The new (enemy) graphics look sterile

The high-res biters are good, but they don't fit in the normal game graphics. They are too bright. Something is missing. I am not an designer, but i recognize and see it by myself that they don't fit with the other game-style-look. Each other object in the game fits perfect with the environment. Not...

Re: How many main bus lines do you generally use?

Much as needed!

A player who build small, don't need many buslines. If u always build really big, u cannot say u need X number of Lines. Because it's always too few. Normally i build 8 Iron 8 copper 4 steel. But i expand the lines from time to time. So, much as needed is the right answer. :D

Re: Thank you (Make the dev-team happy today!)

Thank you for the great game. I spent round about 1000 hours into the game till now. The only other game that hits that mark is Oxygen Not included. Both great games. The Changes in the 0.17 are very well so far. But imho the biters looks a bit strange. I do not know yet, if i like her. Otherwise re...

Re: Friday Facts #268 - The modern Biter

First of, i like all of your Friday news / facts. Well, personally i don't like the new design. I know it's not finished, but it looks too different as before. It has something like ga.jpg (Whole appearance) and predator.jpg (The claws) They are not cute! Cute is something like that: https://www.you...

@ Zavian Right, but normally the users should read the whole thread before they post their opinions... I know the first post was a bit different. @ sathill I haven't a special genre. I play the games that i like or could like. The most games that I play, are not on a DRM plattform like Steam, Battle...

Re: Defending your base is just to easy!

Thank you Hannu for your explanations! I hope the people read and understand what u have written. That's the point. I like the challenge and the chance, that i can loose and will loose! Games with a 100% win warranty are boring. The most games, like u said, are games u cant loose (the new ones! the ...
