Re: Train station priority!

It's not that hard to achieve an priority system in vanilla. 1. Name the station the same. 2. Wire up train-signals. Trainsignals set to red by wires ad an cost to the trains pathfinding algoritm. Note that trains only re-path in certain conditions, that makes it hard to make several trains path to ...

Re: Friday Facts #304 - Small bugs; Big changes

I don't think that the recipe change actually solves the problem, it just moves it creating a bigger wall later. When oil processing hits it will function just like all of the other early game recipes. You put something in, get something else out and take that to another building. Now the stumbling...

Re: Friday Facts #304 - Small bugs; Big changes

I like the changes. The changes to basic oil refining looks great. It doesn't dumb down the game only making the difficulty curve better. I have always just added some tanks and rushed advanced oil processing never bothered with making solid fuel to get rid of heavy and light oil. The oil refining i...

So, what is the difference between Humble Widget and G2A that is leading to such radically different results ?
That G2A only works through Steam (/Origin/Microsoft) keys ?
(Also, I hear that GoG has implemented their own key system recently ?)
They resell key's bought with stolen credit cards.

Re: Less restrictive fluid mixing prevention

Naah It sounds like an contrived scenario. I am on the other hand annoyed about not being able to rotate stuff and put down assemblers in wrong direction and then rotate them. One easy solution to alleviate that problem would be not to lock fluids for machine inputs. And machine inputs can't mix eve...

Re: Friday Facts #302 - The multiplayer megapacket

Why does the game state need to know what entity the player has selected anyhow? If the player executes an action, pass that action to the server rather than passing the player.selected property. This seems like an unnecessary linkage between view and controller of model/view/controller design. I w...

Re: Friday Facts #299 - Everything is more complex than expected

So just to get that straight... You're saying a train can enter a block that it has reserved itself? So that would mean that if Block 2 in the example would be accessible to the train by a long right-turn it would be possible for the train (provided it is long enough) to bite it's own tail? To me i...

Re: [0.17+] Space Exploration WIP

First of all: Awesome work. Might have been an expansion by the devs, but nope, it's a mod  But how do I use liquids like lubricant in space? Need those to produce cosmic water and the like. I can't build pumps in orbit to empty barrels, so I don't see how I'm supposed to get usable forms of...

Re: [0.17+] Space Exploration WIP

It's a wonderful mod with so many cool feature's i din't think was possible to mod into the game. In general it feels a to grindy. I like when I have to build complex stuff but the space stuff is to expensive and take to much planning and resources to setup. It's also hard to get good bot's to build...

Re: Friday Facts #297 - New resource icons

I think the ore icons on the belts is somehow off. It's to much on the belt it's looks like it will fall off the belts. Shrinking the icons a tad could help also have a little more space between the individual rocks in the icon. Then it would be easier to se what belt it is under the gravel and prob...

I also think SOME people can't stand the randomized ores and I know 2 who will scream bloody murder if they don't have a checkbox to turn the randomness off. Having to resort to a mod for something that is so VISCERALLY VERY WRONG will not do for either of the 2 people I talked to. I'm pretty sure ...

Wait... there's a station on/off indicator?
it's like a half pixel that is blinking green or red. It's easier to check in map view.

I don't think magazines are relevant any longer. Most people find games through twitch and Youtube. There are other video and streaming platforms that is popular in China so you should try to reach out and give free copies of the game to Chinese "content creators" to.
