Re: [Request] - Wood Rail Bridge
This is probably no help at all; but figured I'd throw it out there. Finished slicing functions in tool... download can be found here... https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=135&t=51913 I sort of thought it would be easier to work with rail pictures in a single image instead of all the mu...

Re: Bluerint Train Stop Names
THis sounds like a bad idea.
You can shift-right-click and shift-left click to copy one stop name to another if you were putting like copper-pickup/copper-pickup in the seam area... but generally stops are built far away and for different purposes such that they shouldn't have the same names

Re: Having to repeat the first command bugs me.
also for exploring map seeds. /c game.speed=20 I will also note, you don't have to enter the same command again. I've quite often entered the player charge command, and just double arrowed up to do /c game.speed and the game speed takes even though the map reveal command doesn't. It's really 'do ano...

well really just need another light on the right side of the track that's going to the further north track. There's no break for that rail which is corssing the bottom horizontal rail...
looks like lots of space to be able to put a signal there.

Watching a Katherine of Sky video She mentioned a few times that underground belts help with FPS. (since they don't have to draw the items on them).

Re: Please allow mining drills to store at least ONE ore! :(
Wouldn't this setup do what you want ? Factorio - No need for mining drill buffer.JPG It would function as desired, but honestly, it looks ugly to me because no factory planner in the real world would do it that way. It looks like a work-around for a problem which should have been solved by the gam...

Re: Friday Facts #200 - Plans for 0.16
Was playing with generating maps earlier; 1) I'd love more granular sliders, the jump between two levels is a huge change in output. 2) I know that resource richness increases with distance, but what about size of patches? Was really working hard to generate a semi challenging rail map; and either t...

Re: Wood chests should be 2x1
https://mods.factorio.com/mods/Atria/WideChests Is probably more what you want, you can put down two steel chests and merge them into one; this will be lowest impact on speed... (they blueprint OK :) ) The equalizer chests have a slow update; and a hundred isn't bad... 1000 chests gets up to 0.2-.3 ...

can't replace grass with other tile
And this isn't much of an issue... So I have this mod ... https://mods.factorio.com/mods/d3x0r/upgrade-planner2 I had a crash caused by shift-click replacing with grass (landfill) set as a target type. (because grass 'can't be part of a blueprint) I fixed the crash by adding a data-updates.lua with ...

Re: [15.33] Inserter Putting Items on Full Belt at Underground
That sounds like a feature actually. Turns out also if you have an underground belt hood that you put in front of a miner, it will prioritize the miner into the belt instead of the belt behind it; useful to fill half spaces between things and make sure belt is fully compressed... Sounds more like th...

If aluminum is prounounced al-u-min-ium, do you also say nium-ber? niumeric? niumbskull? (it's alu-min-um) Okay, here's a fun one: Do you say coppernicum? MagnesIum? CalcIum? SodIum? IndIum? After fixing the spellings , I don't see how you could even compare apples to apples. Everyotherelementonthe...

it is important still of you specify 'local' on the function.darkfrei wrote:It would be nice to know, that functions in data.lua must be early than calling of this functions. By control.lua it's not important.

Re: /colour command as an alise to /color
There is not one graphics library that has a 'colour' type. There's not one graphics program that has a colour palette. Even the site http://www.colourlovers.com/palettes has one palette (of hundreds) that's colour - http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/4520605/Goodbye_Colourlovers; all the others ar...
