I went ahead and disabled the rest of the options: Show Smoke, Show decoratives, Show Item Shadows, Show Inserter Shadows,

That got me to 20 FPS/55 UPS at rest, but when moving it's still in the 19 FPS/55 UPS through 16 FPS/50 UPS range.

Hey, try to set "Video Memory Usage" to "All", disable "Full color depth" and disable "Show clouds" in graphics options.
Thanks for the input. I made those changes. It gained me a little bit, but I'm still not hitting 20 FPS/60 UPS.

I'm having the same issues. With 0.16.51, I had 60 UPS and at rest, 30 FPS, dropping to ~20FPS while moving (when not near smoke - then all bets were off). With 0.17.9 (not specific to .9) I have 60UPS and 16.9FPS in a brand new world. Once I've played in it, I'm down in the 14.5FPS range, with my U...

[0.17] Duplicate Technologies after Introduction completed

I completed the Introduction and chose to continue.

I had to re-research the technologies from the Introduction (turrets, etc) at their lower, normal costs.

I also now have two different Logistics technologies:

Thanks for the report however this is working as intended: we specifically changed it in 0.17 to toggle on key up.
Which means that when I alt-tab to another window, it doesn't turn alt-mode off. That has been annoying me for weeks and I am glad you changed it.

Just to make sure: do you know about the logistics network screen? It's opened by pressing L by default. You can scroll and even search in that menu. Yes i do. But it still not that convenient as the panel we are talking about. OMG. How is that not in the startup tool tips? Also: I can't wait for ....

I have a few blueprints that I have to walk far away from the buildsite and then zoom as far out as possible in order to place them accurately. I also have one that I'm unable to use at all because there's no way of seeing it's edges prior to placing it.

Bump. I've done this twice today.

Dropping a blueprint on the 'cloud' book's trashcan to delete it would be ideal, but I would happily take a 'This is not the delete you are looking for' warning.

In the cases where I can correctly place the electric miners, I get around this just by using a burner miner. It only mines what it's actually sitting on so allows a much more surgical mining footprint.

How about decorative items? I've seen lots of screenshots of people decorating their factories with patterns made from various items (ascii-art-esque.) That could be expanded on by using wood to produce flooring (not as good as concrete, but interchangeable) or flower pots? Maybe even a bridge...abl...
