ssilk, we have unziping down (c can't do it either, so my roommate does it in VBA)

and if your thing can categorize it by type (recipe, tech?, resource specifically :P)

then i might need to a full refactor soonish (^_^)

As Nova said, i'd only consider it "not cheating" if it was lossy, like the boiler takes in 1MJ of energy to heat water that would produce 500kJ of energy out,

and the only use is to heat water during the day to store the energy for later

Well, we're on trimesters so it's week 2/11 of the second quarter, so no danger of me failing right now, maybe if you keep this up

uhhh, yes, must report it directly to the top

ehrm, it's in units of harvested artifacts/second apparently, gives you a bit to many (120 when you need 100) but you can use the excess somewhere else...

As you might have heard me and my roommate (a CE and IE in training) are building a MRP system for factorio,

right now it can calculate any arbitrary demand for any item in vanilla, and soon will be able to calculate an "optimal" tech tree

however we're not happy with that, our plan from the get ...

The two best ways (in my horrid opinion) would be either %blocked, or #unblocked,

perhaps a option toggle? (off, %blocked, #unblocked)

you wouldn't even need a graphic for it, just add it as a line under the name in the "selected" box on the left

Their is a debug option (hit f4) that will show the current pollution on the map screen, although it shows absorption, it lacks production

The water line is fishy, there is a pair of squares, one land and the other water, that "blend" together,
in general, you can walk+build on one square farther than the graphics would make you believe

tbh, once you get the smelting set up (iron and copper specifically)

you set up a basic iron ...

and 2438 depleted oil? (i can't remember if we choose depleted as base, or 100% yield, and my roommate isn't here atm)

Ok, i got my demand generator working and set to look only at vanilla (part of why it wasn't working before)

(note, it's using basic oil atm, because we don't know how to tell it that that isn't the best way to do it)

note: i don't trust any of this atm, as there is still bugs to be found
