In your images you are placing the signal on the wrong side of the track. You can tell by the directions of the arrows. Signals should be placed on the right side of the tracks in the direction the train will travel.

This is usefull when placing two pumps next to each other to show they are on different tanks.

Ver 16.32. I've a question about the idle power usage of inserters. Almost everything in the attached save is turned off and I noticed the inserter power usage runs through a cycle of heavy/light every few seconds. I thought the idle usage would be steady. EDIT: Ok maybe it's just me not paying atte...

I agree there should be a way to display exact values in the circuit network.

Maybe it's the same, my point was not only were the wires free but there were no bots to put them.

Free Red/Green wire when placing ghost
I was playing around with blueprints prior to researching robotics. Placing a blue print on top of items you have placed manually will give you free red/green wire. This is easy to test; start a new game, do research up to "Circuit network", place two chests and connect them with red wire....

Having the same problem. Trying to mine copper from a field with uranium but I haven't researched sulfur so why does miner change to require sulfur?
