I noticed an odd problem where the game will run at a horrible 20 fps after starting. Using alt+tab and then going back to the game appears to fix it, immediately goes to 60 fps as expected. Before factorio launched on steam, you could pay $15 extra and have your name (or arbitrary garbage you put in the form) appear in the game. They're still shown on some things like radars, labs, trains.

One of the things that would greatly benefit the mod portal is the removal of the login requirement. It does not make sense to have to log in just to download a mod. There is an extremely simple solution here, buy the game. Why should they waste money for bandwidth for people who never gave them any?

Yeah, the problem is that some of my belts were ugly. I find visual quality to be more important than some belt sorting tricks that I'd never have a use for.

You can play multiplayer just fine, what you can not do is play on a server that requires you to verify your identity because that would make any ban list useless. It doesn't seem like anyone is getting the point? Either family sharing should be disabled, or allow you full access to the game including multiplayer. Sharing the account with the original owner is obviously not a solution.
