I would uncheck the auto launch check box and see if something is being placed in the slot, it launches with cargo, not necessarily a satellite.

if you are moving around, the exoskeleton will take all the power produced leaving none to fill the batteries. 200KW vs. the 100KW generated.

I don't have any ratios and such, but from my experience the infrastructure costs are pretty insignificant compared to science unless you are going big on solar or upgraded belts, then it is another big hit on iron.

I'm with M44v on this one, the left one won't prime from the liquid bus and the one on the right has superfluous pumps and has a potential lockup state if less than 1000 is in the tank

The real tell for whether they are working properly is to check if the heat exchangers contain water at both ends of the line, that 20 is how much water is in the pump rather than how much is being pumped.

in all seriousness, I never noticed on account of never having used them and I suspect the manual removal rate is low enough for the limbo championship

MrGoodbits, I was able to generate this map with a seed of '0', is your setting null or an empty string such as ""?

edit: just looked at the json example, looks like the code is taking it as a literal 0 and not randomizing

sounds like they are getting power now, they do need a container or belt in front of their output to receive or carry the ore.

I did not know the starting amount was .5, perhaps the issue stems from the same cause, an error in the perceived starting point.

the math works out properly if you think on it in this sense:

the changelog was version .15.0 when fluids were multiplied by 10, then this note, by 4 going from 5->50->200

the question just remains as to whether it should continue to be this high or not.

From the screenshot, it looks like it could be the signal delay between stopping and reading the cargo.

I wonder if it would be beneficial to have the station get the cargo info when the train enters the block or gets closer, but before it stops.

if you have the bypasses close enough to prevent deadlocks, you already have 2 tracks everywhere, unless you only allow a single train at a time on the 2 way parts, which would take chain signals everywhere and would be abysmal. just my understanding of it

did some testing as well as it piqued my curiosity, found that you can get 4 times the fill by going along a straight coast 2 out and every other tile, but it requires you do it a block at a time and any islands you get near with throw it off a bit.
