THANK YOU for mentioning that this is an April Fool's Joke.
Because if it were real, then I'd be so mad...
If Factorio was Free 2 Play, then that would be unfair to all of us who bought the game...
(Except for the demo. The demo can be free.)

Re: Biomes?
I too would like to see more biomes, and more variation of the terrain. It is very rare for me to find a large desert, for example. :( There is a red desert area in my main map, but it is very, very tiny :!: I'd like to see larger biomes, and more variation in them instead of just: green plain with ...

Re: Friday Facts #196 - Back on track
Adding tutorials to the game was a great idea. Factorio is one of those games that is incredibly complex, and I needed to check the wiki to really learn a lot of things. I would prefer to be able to learn these things in-game, and the tutorials are a great platform for doing that. 1) Please put a &q...

Re: Add achievements for completing marathon, death world etc.
I support the idea of having an achievement for completing the game on a hard difficulty.
Right now the only incentive for setting recipes to "Expensive" is the sense of challenge. I'd like some kind of reward for playing in expensive mode.

Re: Woodn't it be more balanced?
Per raw resources, the two types of wood have the same energy. Converting 4MJ to 2*2MJ conserves energy, there is the Productivity Module which can get extra wood from Raw Wood, essentially creating energy. I created a setup in my factory today that will take Raw Wood and turn it into Wood to be bur...

Re: A handful of thoughts
Hello everyone! :-) First of all, I'd like to have the resists display back, right now the tank is just a blank box with HP on it, remember not only graphics provide detail, but also information? One VITAL information that I got this way when starting to play Factorio, was that walls have 100% fire...

Re: Version 0.15.19
Is there a chance we could get an option to have the game start in maximized windowed mode? Better yet, have it remember the location and size of its window when it closes and launch as that? :P Yes! I find it somewhat inconvenient to have to manually maximize the window each time. Please just have...

Re: Hidden ores
Please don´t add any Z-Leveles. Right now this Game requires you to carefully think and plan a clever layout in an confined two-dimensional space and that creates the special magic! Complex summed it up quite nicely! I am 100% for the idea of hidden ores, but I feel that adding Z-levels to the game...

Re: Electric energy
When they are inside body they start damaging the cells which can cause radiation poisoning ( but woudl require quite large amounts), but as depleted uranium is not very radioactive, it is slow. More dangerous is the toxic effect of DPU. I have read that uranium is a poison. Does that mean that ura...

Re: [0.15.9] [Harkonnen] module crafting
Logistics network (because you hand craft the required purple science) Personally, there is only 1 and only 1 reason that I would ever hand-craft any sort of science whatsoever: crafting red science before I get my production line set up. Personally, I'd rather set up a science factory so I can hav...

Re: [0.15.9] [Harkonnen] module crafting
In that case i think it would be logical to put 3 on tier-2 recipe (as opposed to 4 on all others) or probably remove tier-2 modules completely from the game and have proportions like 10/15/20 on advanced-modules - does anybody use tier-2 modules at all or goes straight to tier-3 with a bit of tier...

Re: Friday Facts #120 - Spidertron
I'm SUPER excited for the Spidertron! Finally, something that can step over puddles. What are its combat abilities? Does it have guns on it? Or is it more for moving around your factory megabase? One thing I'd like to see is an ability to stomp on the small biters & spitters to kill them, and wa...

Re: Electric energy
About the nuclear option: I really like the idea of using nuclear power in the game, however, I feel that having only 2 choices to generate energy is not enough. I would also like to see choices for uses the depleted nuclear fuel aside from building myriads of storage tanks for them: 1) Some kind of...
