I really dont agree with the oil change seems really blunt force help for the "difficulty" which its not.
Better change would be something which would help the slow learners to understand that the outputs will get stuck if not used and direct them to the advanced oil somehow.

You can either have some cheatmod to spawn you extra ones, or edit the prices of the sciences. Maybe you can change how many you get per garden somewhere too. I had same problem and ended up generating extra ones so i could start to do the cultivation part, there its ok to have marathon settings but...

Try what the conversion valve does, if it doesnt have recipe you can add it to the petrochem yourself or wait until update.

Fracture circuits? You mean the green catalysts? You can get blue science without them, just get your early resin from wood or ammonia from blue algae and research the slag processing first to get your hands on silver.

Use Angels greenhouses (Angel Bioprocessing), remove Bobs. After you get to oil you can make synthetic wood, also Angel has better ways of making resin.
I always just skip the greenhouses and go directly to synthetic wood, its not like you need it that much early on not even on marathon settings.

As i said without RSO its 5-20* amounts on natural gas fields compared to multiphased oil. Like 500%-2000% oilfields vs 5000%-50000% gasfields closeish spawn. With RSO the oilfields stay similar amounts but gas just jumps to 100.000%-1.000.000% ranges. All my settings should be pretty much on defaul...

Why Natural Gas fields have 5-20*yields of similar Oil fields also Thermal Water fissures have much bigger yields than Oil at similar distances. All with default settings, and if i use RSO (which i love) Natural Gas fields have 100*yields compared to Oil. Is it just display error or what is going on...

You dont need any kind of greenhouses unless you started on totally barren area. Also using bobgreenhouses makes resin cost 5times normal materials and time.
Getting wood from oil comes rather early and is supersimple, sadly for resin you need a bit of higher tier metals for catalysts.
