Oh my god, what have you done? You can't just drop a game like this here. Can somebody ban this person? My life is ruined, again.

Okay we arrived at sounds and got a few planets and space stuff left. Can't be that long left now does it? DOES IT?

Release when?
(edit: Damn this is a really unexpected change for me. It certainly looks cool, but also more messy.)

I'm loving this FFF! The new miner is addressing one gripe I had while playing Space Exploration mod for about 900 hours now - that setting up new mining bases is a chore and not that fun. I'm glad the new miners are way more powerful than the existing ones, plus getting more yield so I don't have ...

Re: Friday Facts #381 - Space Platforms

Two: The thruster exhaust plume. The exhaust itself looks amazing. The plume behind it, not so much. In my head, it means you have some really bad combustion ratios going, being very inefficient. It also looks messy to me for some reason. (Maybe because it's a giant expanding cloud of smoke in ...

Re: Friday Facts #378 - Trains on another level

Question for the developer.
Will mods be able to leverage the "second/elevated layer" as well or is this unique to rails?

An example would be a mod which mimics what you described for rails just with belts or skyways for walking.

Re: Friday Facts #377 - New new rails

This seems like a universal win in my book.
The only thing I don't like is that the new rails look "too clean" you can see this in the slide comparison of the T junction.
The previous rails, aside from not being a smooth curve, had more roughness to them.

Re: Friday Facts #375 - Quality

The upgrade chances don't look quite right to me for how it was explained in the article for a 1% quality boost
out of the 1000 gears, 9 would be uncommon and 1 rare.
I believe these are the correct chances instead for the 10% quality boost of 4 regular tier 3 quality modules:

This bothered ...

Re: Friday Facts #375 - Quality

Still, please consider multiplayer interaction in light of the polarizing nature of this system. Making quality not just optional per-map but actually per-player (allowing each player to choose when to engage with it individually and also leave it behind as desired) in terms of UI would help a ...

Re: Friday Facts #375 - Quality

This isn't to say that the people who DO express their discontent with the new thing should be ignored, or shouldn't share their (respectfully shared) sentiment, but it is to say that the most vocal will be people who dislike the new.

I have no problem with people voicing their discontent, I ...

Re: Friday Facts #375 - Quality

So, what? I get a machine that can do the job of 2-and-a-half machines, for the low low price of 50 normal machines?
And all I gotta do is build literally every single one of my factory lines into a loop, recycling and remaking every item, until I get what I want?
I kinda see the appeal for any ...

Re: Friday Facts #375 - Quality

I guess only 5% of all the players will use quality tiers.

My guess would be that very casual players will only concern themselves with quality for some high impact entities like turrets, tanks, armor, thrusters, shields, etc.. Essentially one offs, low quantity manufactures and things that are ...

Re: Friday Facts #375 - Quality

I am a little torn, but ready to try it out.
In our world there are also quality differences, so it would make sense that higher quality parts are able to produce higher quality products that perform better.

The only thing I don't like are the names. They are too "MMO / World of Warcraft" where I ...

Hello Earendel,
big fan of your mod. Will we see some of the addon technology like the animated engines bleed over into your mod?

Greetings
