Re: Train bandwidth Questions
I am going to have to agree the less trains you have on your network the less chance you have of a train needing to give right of way and stop. I have not done much with trains but from my observation the clear bottle neck is the loading/unloading station. There is no way around the 12 stack inserte...

HA ha actually that is the one thing that keeps me from building a bot/becon based factory. The most efficient layout appears to be straight lines of becons and assemblers. Although maybe I should do it just to see how impressive robots and becons actually are.

Don't forget you will need to add a second Iron mine if you play on standard settings as you will probably start running thin around the time you are half way through blue science.

I though it was really fun until I attempted clearing a chunk of land large enough to actually use a train effectively.

I do wish resources were more biome dependent. Oil in deserts, coal in planes, iron/copper in forested/mountains. I would also think it would be if further out the best patches of Iron/copper where heavily mixed.

12 ice cubes come from 1 ice tray in real life but conservation of energy still applies. You can also make a mile of wire with 1 lb of copper or 5280 1 foot wires. You can not simply compare apples to oranges.

To be honest spending an extra 20$ means very little to the success of the game. what would be more valuable is buy a copy for a friend you know will enjoy the game. If they do ask them to buy a copy for another friend. Free advertising by word of mouth and the endless revenue stream that comes from...

Very interesting and I really like it but not sure it fits in the the base game. Definitely fits for people who want to play a more low pollution peaceful diplomatic experience. Mod I would play for sure. Rather then buying them with fish i think they would require housing, food and continual libera...

Add laser turrets to the recipe and let lasers rain from space on anything that attacks you :D OP did say fog of war. Unless I am confused everything already discovered is covered by fog of war unless covered by the short radar coverage. I think you are thinking of the fog of unknown (not sure what ...

Humble is neither good or bad. A farmer with 10 million dollars in a bank but wears walmart jeans and drives a 15 year old truck would be considered humble. Where as a stock broker with 10,000 to his name that wears designer suits and drives a BMW 7 series would not be considered humble. humbling wo...

LOVE IT all great information to add to the map. keep it up
Only thing I could kind of think of is health bars of damaged objects on the map or maybe change the taking damage to orange > 50% red < 50%. Or just outright show the health bars of damaged objects

What is funny about it? If it's 10°C in your room you're freezing and if it's 40°C you will sit in the fridge. There is too little and too much - and there is something in between. Right now SyncViews and me are using the scary nights mod with a mod he made that makes trees absorb zero pollution, a...

Re: "Perfect" Smelter setups has a problem with buffering
Mines will eventually die out. then you will get the buffer to clear out.
I like the buffer build ups. Nice easy place to get 200 iron or copper for hand crafting. Belt running is for chumps lol j/k
