Ah, I see, that's clever to set up the pumps to only be connected with the energy alert system. Great to see that idea put into play really well :)

Any chance of getting a close up shot of those pumps connected to the alert system? Since you already got the build made and all :P

heya Patric, sorry it's been a while, quick question though. In that build that will warn you about low power, is the accumulator necessary or no? Because if not then it would be more cost effective to leave it out and give a more earlier warning than to wait for the stored battery to run dry

One thing that I wanted to add to the design was to add pumps right after the boilers. That way if there is a coal shortage the tanks can provide heated water going backwards through the system. Only thing I need to really test is if this occurs, how to shut off the pumps automatically so they dont ...

I was curious to know why you thought the water cools though, so I played around and found that indeed, simply attaching a storage tank at the end of a row of 10 engines drastically cools down all steam engines temporarily, which in turn also ends up feeding the storage tank with a bunch of lukewar...

I've run into this issue as well, I've found this happens when the belt gets backed up and once it's clear again the inserter doesn't register it can place the item it's holding, remaining stuck holding the item until the player manually fixes it via rotating the inserter or dismantle and replacing it

you do log in with the account you set up on the factorio site in order to download the appropriate content, so I would guess the game will work for either steam or stand alone just as long as you have an account with one or the other

Evolution factor has no influence on the size of nests or worms, it only controls which biters and spitters spawn, how frequently they attack and how frequently they create new bases.
