This is not a bug, just some random thing that happens every-once in a while that they are not going to look at as it is pretty much a non-issue as you can generate a new map.

This is similar to what I have seen as well. The limiting factor if you have all computers running from a dedicated host is the slowest player (the toaster player), but reverse if the host is too fast all the others cannot keep up in factorio. Yes the latter is opposite logic if most games as normal...
