Re: One of my few UI complaints and inconsistency. My idea for a simple change.
The first thing is the taskbar; I think it should be defaulted to the reverse order than what it currently is when you start a new game. Right now they start with 1 at the top and increase as it goes down, Whereas I think 1 should be at the bottom and increase as it goes up I completely disagree. 1...

Re: construction manager ?
Not sure what your native language is, but you might consider writing in that language, and then using DeepL or Google Translate to render your post into English. That might be easier for us to understand.

Can you elaborate more about what you're trying to do? It might also help to include screen shots.

Re: Automated train stations. How do I "store" my idle trains?
Not sure how much oil you can store at your stations, but if you can store multiples of 150,000, then you can put in an arithmetic combinator, divide your total oil by 150,000, and set the resulting value to your station's train limit, because it's one train load. So 150,000 would give you 1, 300,00...

It's true, though, the names are backwards. If this change is made, then a stack inserter should become the one that...stacks.

I think the green belts should be a more vibrant green.
Currently they look rather washed-out, especially when compared with blue belts.

- search by key (there are already many boxes which, when clicked, let you enter a key. there needs to be a search box (could be to the left of search) which, when clicked, searches for the key you enter) This already exists. You just type in the key combination you're looking for. If you're lookin...

Re: Factorio does not launch
The next thing I would try is to download it directly from the Factorio.com web site (do you have a user name there?) and then try the standalone version. This would help you know whether it's a Factorio issue or a Factorio+Steam issue.

Re: Friday Facts #388 - Smaller things for 2.0
I feel like cliff removal should be super force building only, and no longer in regular force building. It is quite annoying to have to unmark cliffs from decon when building defenses that incorporate cliffs. Not to mention you need to be mindful enough to disable your roboport or remove Cliff Expl...

Re: Content Delivery Network not delivering the content?
It's not a mobile issue. It happens on both the tablet and the phone when I'm sitting in my chair at home on Wi-Fi. The tablet doesn't have a SIM card anyway; it only has Wi-Fi. Also, I have a 500 Mbit connection, so it's hard to believe a sub-optimal internet connection would be the issue. Also, wh...

I don't know why it didn't occur to me to note this before...but probably because my Windows laptop was in the shop getting repaired.

Content Delivery Network not delivering the content?
I'm trying to read some relatively recent FFFs such as https://factorio.com/blog/post/fff-374 and I notice that some animations aren't loading. I see this behavior in both Vivaldi and Chrome, on an Android tablet. Instead of the animation there's just a gray box. In Vivaldi it's possible to disable ...

Something I started to wonder upon reading: Are the new planets (practically) infinite size like Nauvis? (I know that in the Space Exploration mod many planets are quite small, but core mining ensures that you can never run completely out of resources and get stuck, as long as you have at least one ...

Re: Friday Facts #383 - Super force building
My two cents on a couple of things: I agree with those who say cliff destruction should be moved to Super Force Building. I usually want to keep cliffs. I don't agree that automatic landfilling should also fill gaps between entities. There are already ways to do that, whether including concrete or b...

You're talking about hundreds of dollars worth of man hours to implement and test something that most people find inferior or don't care about one way or the other. Your cost estimate might be right or wrong, but the existence of this thread shows that your opinion of what "most people" c...
