That is pure insanity! I'm surrounded but nothing like that, how you managed to survive is amazing.

Re: Selling games to buy factorio!
Might be a good idea to post this in the other game's forums too. Once you get addicted to factorio its hard to stop.

Low Capacity Storage [Closed]
I limit how many goods my trains transport to a specific location by using wooden boxes to hold the items, however wooden boxes hold too many items. Can we get a storage container that only holds ~4 stacks at a time or one that has adjustable storage space?

Re: Factorio is... Too cheap?!!!
$10 is too cheap for everything we have in this game right now. $20 seems perfect for the state it is in. When multiplayer finishes I'd say $30 would be right

Re: Looking for laptop with reasonable keyboard
I actually like the weight and size, it makes it feel less like a piece of breakable glass and more a piece of hardware. Internals get messed up? What are you doing using your laptop as a frisbee? Laptops don't have internal damage as time goes on; unless you are mistreating them or not cleaning th...

Re: Friday Facts #33
$10 was fine when this game was just a kickstarter concept. I feel at this point it is a $20 game and when you add multiplayer/better fighting it would be a $30 game. This game is actually better than when I played simcity for the first time and has a lot more replayability value than simcity. It sh...

Re: 20k sells
With the new trailer people that were complaining about the graphics have been shut up and now "lets play's" are looking better than ever. When people play this game they will get addicted to it like people got addicted to simcity the first time they played it. I wouldn't be surprised if F...

Re: Looking for laptop with reasonable keyboard
I used to think the same thing till one of my friends got an Asus G-Series. These things are beast I can play Rome 2 at high everything on my laptop and the thing never over-heats, not that I want to play that shitty game. I actually have to switch to my laptop to play many games. The only downside...

Re: Factorio is going to be big some day.
I think with games like Factorio, where things get complex easily and you cant really just derp around, its far less likely that trolls will stick around because the people who troll dont have the attention span and lose interest in a complex game very quickly. Edit: That sounds rude, i meant it mo...

Re: Looking for laptop with reasonable keyboard
For the laptop, I don't go for high performance, as I know it'll never be even remotely as good as a desktop for gaming. I instead compare models by weight, noise, and battery life. I obviously would not go as far as recommending a netbook, as it would take ages to compile a game, but I generally c...

Re: Friday Facts #29 So many ideas
Remember there is always factorio 2, don't need to shove everything into factorio 1. Once you add multiplayer I think most of your time should be spent polishing and expanding existing features instead of adding new ones. Expanding the enemies that attack us would be a huge step. Reworking the tech ...

Re: Looking for laptop with reasonable keyboard
If you basically want a mobile desktop get the Asus G-Series. I am using it right now and it has more power than my desktop, both are gaming but desktop is a bit older. I can have 4 windows of firefox open with a shit ton of tabs, have youtube music playing, play a game of civilization 4 on multipla...

Re: Any game-dev that could answer the stackexchange questio
States tend to move from 1 to lets say 15 then back to state 1 with a possible state 0 where its destroyed. Is it possible to store only what changes from one state to the next? I am curious. If I am standing in Factory A and Factory B is a 5 minute train ride from factory A are the textures for fac...

Re: Sooo very offtopic :)
there is an option to "disable an alert" when it appears and it disables it rather easily. hm, I know that option but I'd have expected the nocontext script to still work (it just disallows the alert right?), plus it's easy to make the script be silent (no alert to the user). Wasn't reall...

Re: Sooo very offtopic :)
Have you added a tutorial I haven't and, as far as I know, no one else has either... disable "no right click" I've never actually disabled these...usually hitting the context menu key on the keyboard (between right alt and right ctrl) works, and if that doesn't usually shift+F10 does (als...
