Re: [Challenge?] Unloading 4 compressed blue belts per wagon.
No i mean the belts are shoveling it aways almost as fast as the train unloads. The buffer chest is OK, but it'll hardly be filled. Given that a 4000item waggon is unloaded in under 25seconds, the waiting time for a new train is pretty significant and critical. Well if its 5 seconds it might work, b...

Re: [Challenge?] Unloading 4 compressed blue belts per wagon.
Hmm yea ,but i dont get it. So you have 4 fillled blue belts. But the buffer chests for that 1 waggon will be empty just as the waggon leaves because the 12 stack inserters arent much faster. Leaving the belts blank again. Whats the benefit?

Re: Re-enable blueprinting in unrevealed but scouted area
Well yea +1
But it only really annoyed me in map view. I remotely place blueprints. Mostly some rail setups and solar arrays. In self view enough of the map is revealed it seems. Havent had problems yet

Re: inconsitent behavior of cables and logic wires
Imo theres no compare to handmade vs bots. If bots do it for free or you gotta carry a handful of wires doesnt really matter. The handjob still remains inferior. And i havent really cared, except that i am waiting hard for bot research until i am building rails. Much cause the rail blueprints are pr...

Re: How to deal with 2headed trains being reversed?
Hmm funny i thought about going bidirectional alltogether lol. But thanks, looks like mirroring is the way to go. But i think i mirror the loader and not the waggons. I figured a nice quick loader for my mixed trains.

Re: 3000 hours and Dirty Mining
Doesnt beat my record in another game which had 500 days lol..
but the point about factorio, i dont think what you build is wasted. Because blueprints. I either blueprint the entire thing, or modular things and the same is recreated. That gets things done pretty quick.

Re: About cliffs
They are really annoying when building big stuctures. Which usually looks like placing blueprint. Figure there was a cliff in the way. Go there and destroy it. Repeat placement. Rework some areas. Figure there are still cliffs in the way. Repeat placement. Loose the reworked areas. Figure there are ...

Re: Have you ever lost a save file unintentionally?
It has the last savegame preselected upon saving. Which is actually convenient, cause youre repeatedly saving. At least youre doing of more often than starting a new game. Ofc this can be fatal. It has happened in other games for me, but luckily not in factorio. I would also suggest this is " n...

How to deal with 2headed trains being reversed?
How does anyone deal with the problem when a dual headed supply/build train comes in reverse? Each waggon carries different items, and the loader is specific to that waggon. But a reverse train has the wrong waggon in the wrong loader
Hows anyone way to deal with this?

Re: Friday Facts #231 - Belt compression & Crash log uploading
I'd assume, a crash dump with enough hardware information with computer aided parsing to allow for a hardware fingerprint (IE personally identifying) is a privacy concern. It doesnt matter if the company is so small and the intends to be nice or what. Its just a matter of it being what it is. That m...

Low FPS in forest
Since v16 im going down in FPS in forest but only zoomed close
So its the 20 closeup steps (steps on my mousewheel) that are lagging 30fps, while zooming further out im getting full 60fps.
Whys that?
