Re: Friday Facts #91 - Being the evil guy

In my opinion smaller, more frequent updates are better then rare, big ones.

So I'm happy that you are preparing new update earlier, even without few features. :)

I don't know, because in 0.12 won't be hydrogen. Instead of this will be unknown "rocket fuel".

I asked Cube on Crowdin and he answered mi this: @Cordylus I have no idea :-) And also I couldn't find it in code. But the st...

What do you think about the alternative RA2 textures for miner and refinery? They are much more Factorio fitting! http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/cnc/images/9/9b/Soviet_ore_refinery.JPG/revision/latest?cb=20120207151501 http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/cnc/images/c/ce/RA2_War_Miner.png/revisi...

Kovarex will we see any updates before 0.12 (either features, content or bugfixes)? [...] Nobody will ever use PS/2 ports anymore, because there's no mouse/keyboard manufacturer selling stuff using the interface anymore Actually I would like to point out that you are wrong on this point, I myself u...

Re: Friday Facts #89 Timetables

Except there is the issue of licensing; who owns the code of the mod and are the devs allowed to just grab the code and put it in the main game. This has the danger that a disgruntled mod dev can issue a DMCA takedown and boom no more factorio. It's impossible because the mods are written in lua, g...

Re: Modification of inserters. Separate input/output directi

This idea sounds interesting, however it is a little bit against one of the core concepts of the game. That is that you have available several simple elements from which you need to build more complicated structures. With the current inserter functionality pretty much any setup can be done. Yes, so...
