you also have to consider the amount of brown algae you need for paper. I think I will make a mod to speed it up.

the great stuff you can do with angled inserters. But that doesn't bring any extra power in that configuration. (4*5+8*3=44=8*4+4*3)

Re: Flag to allow rear facing locomotives to power trains
I think there shouldn't be any problem. Make it that way you still need a forward facing locomotive, but any reverse facing also contribute power. The way I would program trains, they would be a construct with a mass and forward and backward power, contributed by the locomotives paced ether way. The...

Re: Development and Discussion
If you are looking for more efficiency, the cooling towers have a recipe to cool down steam. Interesting because in the next update bob will make all boilers create 60 steam/s with different temperatures. But isn't (then) the higher efficiency of the boilers simply the higher temp? So by cooling an...

Re: Development and Discussion
as I use play seablocks, I am limited in the level of modules. also the higher tier buildings are so much faster that even if they slow down with non raw productivity, a beaconed build will need lots of stacks.

Re: Development and Discussion
I would like to have higher tiers of flare stacks and clearifiers. It would be nice to be able to upgrade in tier without changing the blueprint to get more flares in.

Re: Bugs & FAQ
Try to load the game with only bob's and and angel's enabled. If that works, enable mods one by one and look when it breaks.

Re: [0.16] Sea Block Pack 0.2.11
What does does 'Pollution: 80%' in solid fuel description mean? Does it reduce pollution to 80% when burned? I've tried comparing it to charcoal pellets in a burner and pollution seems to be the same. Or does reduce it's fuel value by 20% or 80% (to 20MJ or 5MJ respectively)? Or maybe it doesn't do...

Re: [0.16] Sea Block Pack 0.2.11
I got a question: has anybody a nice string for gold smelting around the tech "advance gold smelting"? How much throughput do you want? For starter, at the moment i feed my blast furnace with one ore sorter, feeded by two ruby flotation, and the rest of the ruby sorter for the aluminium o...

You can put pumps every few sections but then it becomes a one way lane. You can also lay parallel pipes. and that is it.Even with the debuff, shipping barrels is still good.

Re: [0.16] Sea Block Pack 0.2.8
you want a recipe for the pump to make purified? I know there is a switch in bob's to have them make water. but purified water? Also your factorio version shouldn't do any difference to that as purified water is a angel's thing. as long as you didn't update your mods, nothing should change.

you want to make the CO2 form Charcoal. That nets you way better CO2 ratios.

I found the trees don't scale well and you need some tech for it. I also have quite a good setup for algae. I will post it soon(TM).

Re: [0.16] Sea Block Pack 0.2.8
from the alge->charcoal process you get about 60% more power out then you put in. 100%, if you use charcoalpellets(+20% fuel with near zero power requirements). That is what I used at the start. With blue tech there is the alge->syngas-solidfuel way. That has like 5x yield. Also there is the farming...
