Terrific ! I especially like the last one too :)

That just makes me think a an app that takes a map, a set of coordinates and a direction could generate such renders, that would be neat :)
Maybe such a thing could even be added to the game post-release.

I think there is no builtin function to make a screenshot and save it somewhere in Factorio. I f you play on Windows 7, there is a builtin capture tool that allows you to capture and save easily. I'm pretty sure there are similar tools on Linux, and I'm pretty sure there is a marvellous amazing tool...

Sign/note, with a train stop.

If your output goes on a belt, just a look at the belt. else, [Alt] allows you to see what's on smart inserters conditions, chests contents, and what's being smelted in your furnaces. [Edit] and on your assembling machines :)

The efficiency thing isn't really so much of a problem: even at 100% efficiency, the Factorio solar cells are generating so much energy that the light intensity over the entire planet is so high that liquid water would be immediately split into hydrogen and oxygen. The fact efficiency will be lower...
