Re: Chaining wires for 0.13

I could live with your solution :) Yes to me it sounded as well a bit odd - the "I'm rather surprised..." line. I guess thats the problem, with a forum that has to deal with people from all over the world and there different view and understanding of the english language . Glad you cleared...

Re: [0.13.5] mac crash - permission issue

Hey mate.. Hmm .. so I checked my system from top to bottom :) and the hardware and integrity is ok at least what I can see. I updated to 0.13.6 and still had these weird behaviour. So I decided to dive a little bit into it to see if I can gather a bit more information. Crash report: 1) update to 0....

[0.13.5] mac crash - permission issue

Hey mates.. I just got this :) Screen shot and log in the attachment. I have quite the trouble with the autosave corruption. So I started a copy of a working save file and saved and loaded it every ca.15min. Everything was ok so far then I wanted to exit the game and the popup for the save reminder ...

Re: [0.13.3] [Rseding91] Smelting progress and rounding errors

Hey mates .. I came here from the 0.13.5 release changes link. I always wondered why the numbers in the productivity tab not matched the theoretical numbers. I wrote a mod that reads and extracts the "crafting_progress" from the assembler entity and you could see the "rounding" (...

Re: Chaining wires for 0.13

Poles connect by chaining and entities connect by star. I thought it would be more convenient this way for some setups. Since there seems to be a strong voice to have chaining everywhere, i'll change it back asap. No modifier keys Thanks for changing it back to chaining. Even after rewiring hundred...

Re: The nano factory - only one assembling machine

Yeah finally I have some of my 0.13 changes finished and I'm quite happy with it. So far I have an very simple ore sorter, a complete buffer system change and of course the new loading system for my factory. The last one is based on the filtered stack inserter and a little circuit contraption to set...

Re: 1 input 2 output conveyor sorter (wip)

Interesting. I definitely will try this out. Could you put the filter inserter on the belt circuits? This would mean you could stop the belt if the wrong ore is on it and filter the bad ones out and the belt starts again. Sorry not well explained I hope you see what I mean.

Re: Left-handed Key Mapping?

I would not recommend using any left handed gadgets for computer stuff, if you get to used to it you pretty much cut yourself from the rest of the world :). I tried some but changed it back to the standard. Problem is, if you have to use a normal keyboard/mouse, your muscle memory will fail you. I u...

Re: Train stations and circuit networks [0.13]

Inserters have a stack size ..if you try to deliver more than the stack size you end up with more items. Example: Lets say you have max research for the stack size bonus. Your stack inserter gabs 12 items and put them in place - if you set your filter to lets say 5 you still get 12 items. The (semi)...

Re: Circuit network help?

The belt counter works a bit iffy :(. In hold mode he counts the same item multiple times (as long as the item is on the belt tile - so multiple ticks) I'm not sure how to count the items. I guess we have to wait for the circuit gurus till they come up with a solution :)

Re: The nano factory - only one assembling machine

Yes I'm working on it :) .. I think the new inserter and their stack sizes will bring my factory to yet another level. The 0.13 update was hitting my factory pretty hard :) .. I guess it will take a while to fix all the issues. I have to rewire my networks and switch all my 1300 inserters to the new...

The nano factory - only one assembling machine

Hey mates I just wanted to show you my little nano factory, where I play the game with only one assembling machine. Its a quite interesting challenge and I still have so much to do on it. What you can see on the attachment is my assembling machine, with almost all items you can produce in the game a...

Re: 0.13 nitpicks

My nitpick :) The way you wire the network has changed to ... hmm I don't know how to explain it well Lets say you want to wire three chests in a row, in 0.12 you could just click from chest to chest and are done with the wiring. In 0.13 the wire point is fixed to the start point and you have to can...
