Re: Friday Facts #266 - Cleanup of mechanics

Yet more quality of life. The game is going to be polished so much, its gonna have a hole in it :D

Lazy bastard is going to be a breeze now. I would consider lowering the craft count to reflect these changes.

Have you considered wiping the achievement stats on 1.0 launch?

Re: Friday Facts #265 - Nomenclature & Steam networking

Well, personally I support unified codex of naming. New names are easily learned, If it makes the game more coherent. I have already filled the survey, thank you for asking. :)

Jesus Christ, not another annoying critter to tell me what to do! I absolutely detest the helper bot in Fortresscraft, and is the main reason why I do not play that game. Now you say you want to bring that stupid thing into Factorio???KHBN Y!E*(&YIUASHDJKXCNJAYHD(*&"£  ...

Re: Friday Facts #255 - Construction tools

When pressing Q with a new blueprint the blueprint should become the ctrl+v blueprint in the clipboard. Also in the clipboard menu definitely have an option to turn it into a proper blueprint. This would integrate copy-paste with the blueprint library a lot more workflow will become: ctrl+v and sel...

I am also disappointed about the research queue. I agree with most people that the best feature for research would be to auto-research prerequisites.

Re: Friday Facts #249 - Dead end exploration

I think I would vote for proposal 3. I mostly use blueprint books, and each blueprint is rarely used often enough to put it in the quick bar or inventory. What annoys me most is that if you open a blueprint book, look for a blueprint, use it and hit Q, it is moved from the book into your inventory,...

Factorio really should have better music for late game that is not so depressing.

The point is: If you see software as a lifelong free soup after you entered the restaurant... ... but I don't. Im quite happy to pay for a game, play it, have fun, and than go play something else. Re: Price change

the game development will and must stop for good and Factorio dies. Interesting opinion. So every game or software or project that has been already finished is "dead"? I drive around on a dead car ( the development on it has ceased), listening to long dead music, I use dead phone, I type ...

Re: Friday Facts #231 - Belt compression & Crash log uploading

Its so true that people would never send crash dumps to you. I click "don't send" automatically out of habit. I have been doing it ever since internet became a thing( 17+ years). I do not know of an instance where anyone would send a crash log to microsoft, and it would actually solve some...

Re: Version 0.16.25

Can you show the difference in belt compression now and before? How much does it impacts the game? I have build my last factory before the "Uncompress" patch, and I haven't touched it until now. The production after this patch went up by roughly 10 - 15%. Its about compounding gaps. Gaps ...

Re: Friday Facts #224 - Bots versus belts

Just out of interest how would a legacy build work on Steam? Is it possible? At the moment I cant even stop Steam from updating my games. I am starting to think I have made a bad decision in migrating my Factorio copy onto steam. In Steam, right click factorio. Select properties -> Betas and choose...
