Re: Friday Facts #98 - Just fixing bugs

yeah, the whole research screen needs a bit of TLC. A tech tree or just a nicer UI would go a long way. As for the icons, holly hell, you should replace things like that alien tech with just text placeholders. I would really hate you getting into trouble because of some trigger happy lawyers ...

Re: Friday Facts #97 - Greenlight preparations

You probably should think about expanding the single player campaign before releasing on steam, i'd hate to see complaints that the game was short The game is as long as you want it to be. Sure it ends with the satellite launch, but its entirely up to you when you build it. You can spend hundreds o...

Re: Friday Facts #97 - Greenlight preparations

The promo trailer, released about a year ago I think, was great, that's when I discovered and started to play Factorio. *snips* Factorio is about thinking , not grinding . It's about constructing machines to do the work for you. *snips* yeah, I also bought the game after the trailer. And I think yo...

Re: Friday Facts #96 - The fixing phase

I just set the autosave to 30 min. The game is already so amazingly stable, you really do not need to autosave every 10 minutes. I am yet to experience a single crash in factorio, so far it has been running totally smooth. I personally really do not mind the autosave message, its just a reminder tha...

WoodyDaOcas Could you please translate the first part of your message in English ? thx Here is the best guess translation of his sentence in Slovak, using Google translate: Jee, I'd like to come and play Don't Starve, with a friend (who I no longer play with) we were able to reach about 180 days. Re: Friday Facts #74 - The brainstorming

As a suggestion, I recommend that you add a large number of High tech level power systems for the ship as a steam powered space ship, while cool, is not exactally feasible in space, where coal/oil doesn't as far as we are aware, exist. Solar power plants would have higher output in space, as there ...

Re: Friday Facts #73 Minds versus bytes.

Rocket overall looks cool but the engine placement seems off. There can be one large engine bellow center of mass or 3 similar sized rocket engines. Even if the smaller ones are meant to be for flight control I would expect them to be opposite of each other or more of them. Comon, this isn't KSP. T...

https://twitter.com/factoriogame/status/543718921153818624 Don't ever let players dictate your objectives. It tends to end very badly. The players often don't know what they want themselves. Also, everyone has got a different idea on how the game should work. You cannot possibly satisfy all people....

Re: [MOD 0.11.3] Treefarm v1.2.4

yeah, sure. I don't know whats the problem than, mine germlings appear to be cropped into a 16x16 box. I can't run a test now, because the treefarm doesn't run with 11.2. Those graphics are really just clobbed quickly together. Im not sure if they are up to the standard. I have also made fertilizer ...

Re: [MOD 0.11.x] Treefarm v1.2.3

Hello.
I have made some replacement icons for my own use for the germling. I have however noticed that the icon is cropped smaller than usual. The fertilizer is using a full 32x32 icon, so the solution might be somewhere in the treefarm code. Could you give me some pointers as to where to look?
