Note that when I'm mass placing structures (such as conveyor belts), The cursor shows only the number of items on a current stack rather than total number of items in inventory.

I don't think the difficulty jump is too large. Remember that you have to sort out the oil logistics between science pack 2 and 3. Oil kind of acts like a stepping stone to ease the difficulty spike.

Note that when playing non-Steam version on Linux, I don't see the game appear with other running applications, at least when the game is loading. To see the game loading, I basically have to minimize every other application.

I woulkd like to commend the title Factorio for a few reasons:

1. It's very appropriate for what it is.
2. It's very easily searchable. You'll search for Factorio, you'll get Factorio. (more easily than I initially thought)

This means that it would be really easy to add items which you could produce by setting things like which items they need, where you could craft it and how much time it takes to craft them.
