the while statement you are talking about is what you are supposed to use the last combinator for if the 2 first ones outputs 1 black and -1 black and the last one outputs 1 black if black > 0 it will work. Becauce if the Power is below 20% the black comes on and constantly triggers itself, and when...

the Circuit network is instant compared to the game itself(it takes 1 tick to send over any distance) but the tick itself is not instant at all

It is not that hard if you wiggle it for a while, and i Think they increased the range for "perfection" in some recent update(dont remember what one).

It is the yellow Icon that says it is not connected, the red means it is connected but no Power is produced.

it means that your steamengine is most likely out of coal or water(usually coal)

it is also red when you try to use solar panels in the night for example.

Explosive Shells one hit Alien bases and can take out a horde of small/medium biters following you so i Think they are good(when combined with regular ammo)

I like to make lots of trains with each production in differet places: smelting, Circuits, red/green sci,blue/Purple sci, modules...

I know it is not at all the fastest or most compact and such, but it is fun and i like that

The recipies for red and green wires have first circuits and then Cables but the combinators have it the other way...
