One possible way to make games different is to encourage sub-factory style instead of bus style. This can be done by increasing terrain and water segmentation, so you don't have big chunks of land anywhere. But that will also hinder possibility to put rails, so I guess it's not an option either unt...

Good idea, if it can be implemented in such as way as to be useful.

Once discovered, the entire deposit should become visible. (Finding said deposit could require a lot of drills for sure, but anybody wanting to place 100 mines to find the outlines of a small patch of ore...is masochistic. ;) )

Mod-wise, I think it would be pretty easy to make randomly generated Recipes. The hard part is making it the same between saved games. It would get a new set each time you restarted the game... With that in Mind, you could have a seed value in the config, which you have to make sure it matches the ...

I had thoughts along this line...More of a Steam-Punk version. Where you COULD make everything coal fired OR, you could make everything run on steam. :) You could build steam manifolds and piping and such. It would cut down a bit on the coal belts, but would of course increase steam piping.

Love this mod idea, although I haven't had a chance to use it yet. *Still learning to play vanilla mainly.

For those with the smaller icon sizes; You might want to change the GUI interface size under options. I hope that helps.

I would love to try this mod (Don't really care about Bitters).

I have a few questions:

What do you do with all the excess wood?
Do you store it?
Burn it? (Wouldn't you need a product being produced to burn all that wood?)
