Re: Item requirements for belts with modular production

That's very useful Robbedem :) I didn't know you can do that. I'm very new to this programs and don't know how to do almost anything yet, that's why i left it open, because i know that people can do a lot a better things than i can at the moment. When i'm back home in a few days and figure out how t...

Re: Spreadsheet of items requirements

It is useful if you make modular productions for each item, like me ;). Just shared it as maybe someone else does the same.

Edit: Changed the title to a more descriptive one, sorry.

Re: Spreadsheet of items requirements

In my case i need an X. Putting a number instead of an X (other than 1) would give a result that i don't need. This was made especifically to know how many paths the belts will have to make once they leave the production of an item. But it can be added though, maybe next to the x or in some way that...

[outdated?]Item requirements for belts with modular productn

Hi :) Having been heavily inspired on Daeron's spreadsheet of science packs T1-3 requirements: https://forums.factorio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=4398 And that i like to do very modular bases, where each resource is done in a place and then moved to where it needs to (this way you can expand...

Max Threads. How much, why?

I don't know a lot about computers yet and i read several times that i have to put Max Threads (in Options/other) as the same number of cores mi cpu has. Then some people say this is not correct because of multithreading or virtual cores. Things i don't understand. Could someone clarify this for me?...

Re: Dealing with a lack of oil.

DRBLN, This are very simple questions you are asking. I don't mind at all, but i think you will have better luck going to the wiki. There you have A LOT of information about this and almost anything else and all at your disposal without needing to ask here and wait for a good fellow to answer you. A...

Re: Sort items from inventory into toolbar

It would be really nice if we can have this.
It is easy to think that you have less of one item because you only look at the toolbar so you make or want to make more, then to notice you had more, but in your inventory.

Yeah, i'm not sure either if it would be better posted here or in ideas.

Re: Dealing with a lack of oil.

Ric, some of us don't make the base just to win the game, some of us make huge bases. And i mean huge. But yeah, at that point, you have expanded so much that for me, it is not really an issue. But i have about 100-120 depleted oils right now.

I have the same problem. This happens with both scenario-pack campaigns.
I have never installed any mods yet.

If a chest has an item, the bots will try to fill it with the same item. :)

Re: Tried to pick up a full chest...

One thing I've always wondered is why can we replace complex machines in-place with them keeping all their settings (e.g assemblers) but can't do the same to upgrade chests. If we'd be able to change chests so that they'd automagically move as much stuff to the new one as possible the bomb wouldn't...
